I will have to say Moncrief, I think he will be Ben's deep threat, there will be opportunities to make big plays.

I voted Nelson, but I could make a case for all 3. I was never a huge Barron fan, but I think he can be a good fit for what we want to do with him.

I voted Moncrief like 6 says he could be the deep threat and we all know how Ben likes to throw it deep. I think Nelson could have a very good year however offense will get all the headlines.

I voted nelson. I think all 3 will make us better. Nice pickups this year. Camp will be crucial this year because of a lot of new parts.

    Moncrief

I'm liking this WR group this year. Think we're going to see good things by committee.

    Nelson for me.

He can hold that spot for some time. Add the fact that Haden is on the wrong side of 30 and Nelson could be our new number one. That being said, hopefully Brian Allen can crack the final 53. It will be between him and Burns.

I'm not sure Nelson is capable of being a #1 CB , I just hope he's competent.

I voted Nelson because I want it to be anyone on defense. My gut tells me it will be Moncrief.

    Other.

I’m hoping our best FA signing has not been signed yet. Someone ala Joe Haden.

I say barron. I think he could be a huge missing piece in the middle of the field on defense

I actually think if the Steelers find the right ILB and FS in the draft, they will take Barron off the field in the nickel defense and other packages.

I think the opposite. I think he is so versatile he wont come of the field. He can blitz, cover backs and te, decent against the run.

Now I ain't saying he is a pro bowler. I just think he is a major upgrade. Edmonds and. Davis at safeties. I think William's can even play some olb now

I think people are having haden age too quickly. He's 29 and will turn 30 in about a week. Not really on the wrong side of 30 yet.

One thing for sure is qbs are going after one or the other so there is a good chance people won't be happy all the time with both guys.

Getting hilton signed is yet to happen. It sure looks like a corner will be a pick in the first two rounds so maybe hilton is looking at that too. Whatever happens, getting this d backfield in place and playing together for a few years is critical. Davis being a FA after this year also leaves that up in the air.

I also hope it's Barron. We need him to have the biggest impact if we plan on competing for the SB.
Big Ben will have Moncrief being the biggest impact imo.

    Nelson.

Yes, you can easily make an argument for Moncrief. But offense hasn't really been our weak spot. Defense has. Anything that improves the secondary will have a larger impact. Especially if it helps us start getting takeaways again.

Nelson. Think that will prove to be a gem of a signing.

Him and Haden will improve things a lot back there.

You can’t believe everything you read here. One guy thought DHB was the answer at safety.

    - signed, a tall, thin good looking guy

A lot of the draftniks keep saying Murphy is best suited as a zone CB, I think the Steelers played the most man coverage last season. He might be worth the gamble though.
