Which players should the Steelers release in the offseason?

Agree we start there. Add Berry. Vance was a result of terrible play calling but his price tag is huge compared to the benefit.

I'd consider Pouncey too if things got tight. I like Holton and Alualu a lot.

I like the Edmunds to LB idea. Surprised we didn't try it already. He's athletic, has played LB, we have LB needs, and he sucks at S.

 

I want to release Barron, I'm just having a hard time of thinking exactly who his replacement is going to be... they won't let it be Vince, so who is it going to be? Do they like Gilbert III enough? Anyone else?

Davis is a free agent, Edmunds won't be on the 53

 

If we cut all these players we need to fill the roster. We would be down to 37 or lower with 20+ mil. to play with and 16 or more players needed. That is only a little over 1 mil. per player. Not going to get a lot of quality at those prices.
