Again....of course He starts eventually, and will play there unless hurt, or they spend another 1st round pick. Like I said before......name Me one 1st round pick in the last 16 years that didn't take the position they were drafted for, whether the guy in front of them was better, or not. Can't do it.
I seen T. Edmunds, Z. Hood, and J. Jones play , and take spots because of when they were drafted. Let's just hope He's not like one of them, and He actually earns, and is awesome at His position.

 

If what DK said was true about Dotson saying Penalties costing him his job, then Dotson's Penalties may cost him his team as well.

2022 was a disaster for both Dotson and Moore in Penalties. They both had more penalties last year that anyone else had in the last 5 years.

Dotson may want to ready up his bags for another destination. In all honesty, Dotson said it himself that he was on borrowed time in a sense relating to being a Steeler and not just a starter. Hell, if Arizona is still interested, I would trade Dotson and a Mid Day pick straight up for Isaiah Simmons and a pick.


Personally speaking... I hope that will happen as Simmons will be a "Supercharged Terrell Edmunds" in a sense. Rather, Terrell 2.0; bigger, faster, stronger and more instinctive to boot. He and Minkah would have a field day and I could not possibly imagine how much fun and excitement Tomlin would have game planning for those two.


Minkah is already a deadly multi role Defensive Back as it stands. Add another one to the playbook but one that can support both the Front Seven and play some Slot if needed in a pinch in Isaiah.

Penalties aren't the only reason..... Kenny Pickett had 2 concussions and Dotson was directly responsible for both of them..
At that point, penalties are the least of ànyone's concerns

that said, yes - I miss the fire. BUT - that used to happen during Mini-Camp. Plenty of time for FIRE, high energy, scuffles, ALL THAT STUFF - in August...!!!!
