Where will you be if the Steelers are in the SB

Due to being a shift worker, I happen to have a bunch of days off around Superbowl, so I'm either going to drive down to Pittsburgh (about 7 hours) or fly to Minnesota. I'm torn about which one to do.

If the Steelers make it, what are your plans?

 

I don't know, but I got a close friend in the Twin Cities! All I need is a ticket!

It would probably be cool even if you didn't have a ticket. Im sure a lot of Pittsburgh radio will be broadcasting from there, and former Steelers will be making appearances?

 

If those were my choices, I'd go to Minnesota. I know people who just drove to Detroit to watch the game there. There will be plenty to do in and around the city to make it worthwhile. How much does it suck though that it's in Minnesota and not a warm climate?

 

I’ll be sitting in my living room and watching the game on my huge TV with some family and friends.
I’ll most likely have the audio turned down and WDVE on but won’t be able to hear much of it anyway.

 

Going to the actual super bowl has never been a big deal to me...just too ridiculously expensive. But what I would LOVE is to go where it's being played and hang out with all the festivities they have all week and then going to a big Steelers party somewhere in that city. If they make it to Atlanta next year i'd REALLY like to make it

 

This is sorta my plan. I live 5 and half hours from the cities and have some vacation days so my plan is to just drive down and take in the many SB activities. Walk around in my Hoge jersey and see if ESPN spots me lol

Down stairs in my Man Cave with my son and old man, drinking whiskey and yelling like a mad man.

 

Most likely in the ER recovering from cardiac arrest.

 

I think it would be cool to watch it in Pittsburgh at the stadium but I think, not sure, the NFL does not allow that. Still would be cool to be in a Pittsburgh sports bar but I'll be down in South Jersey among Eagle fans but watching with Steeler fans. Really would love seeing a STEELER/eagle SB but no way eagles get there without Wentz.

 

Only thing I don't like about the SB when the STEELERS are in it is that I am way too nervous to enjoy the halftime show.

 

Hope so, I put 1,000.00 on the Steelers to win the SB this year at 9 to 1 when the season began.

man cave with my oldest boy and if ,IF ,philly makes it ,a couple Eagles buddies from up the road

 

I think I'll save about $5K and watch it at home on the couch.

 

in the tallest mountains sacrificing my organs and limbs so we can win

 

In my family room watching on a large TV. Same if we don't make it! Difference being, A Ben jersey, TT and Steelers hat!

 

Heaven if they win.............The deepest depths of hell if they lose......or The Pit of Despair....whichever is worse....Dilly Dilly.....

 

Never could I watch a STEELER/eagle SB with Eagle fans. The year we beat them and then the Patriots to give both of them their first loss of season was so much fun. We live in Philly fan base and we had a huge party with about 20 Steeler fans and 20 eagle fans. Steelers dominated the entire game.
