If Robinson is such a great pass rusher, were was he, we're we not playing P. Manning? Seems to me I would have started him and told him like Cohwer told Lloyd " RUSH THE QUARTERBACK, RUSH THE QUARTERBACK"

He was better than the other undrafted rookie free agents. He played well at the end of preseason games against guys that probably didn't make their teams. That doesn't make him better than Worilds and Carter. Besides, there wasn't really a point in that game where he'd be able to just pin his ears back and rush the passer without having to worry about other responsibilities. Responsibilities he's not ready for.

if robinson is a one trick pony, then carter is riding the exact same horse....... unfortunately, it takes alot more than than to get the best of a team with ryan clady at lt

Agreed, but that's also why I like the 4-3. There's less responsibility in the 4-3. Either you rush the passer or you don't. Either you drop into coverage, or you don't. I know it's not nearly as simple as that, but compared to the 3-4 (especially DL's 3-4), the 4-3 is a joke to learn.

I'm not sure catering to our UDFA rookie practice squad bubble players is a good enough reason to even factor into the decision about which system to run. Would you decide what kind of offense to run based on Kelvin Beachum? Would you even factor that in? They should run whatever works best. The end.

I didn't say lets switch because our practice squad players would best fit that system. That wasn't the point of my post

Yeah, that's why there aren't any threads about him. Wait until whenever the next week that he doesn't score one. They'll be back.

Man as of right now even if Wallace is NOT scoring I think that's the least of our problems. But you're probably right. We are a pessimistic bunch. Self included!!!!! :sorry:

I think A-Robs time will come and I coul be wrong but isn't the right side his more natural position I think he should be getting some work over there, especially with the uncertainty of Harrison's health. I actually feel our OLBs should be interchangeable because their individual strengths may match up better against one OL over the other. I liked how in the past they have stacked Harrison and Woodley on the same side,I would like to see more of that and just moving them around more often. I also think our DL could be more of a force in the pass rush if they weren't always told to play so disciplined and so system oriented. Sometimes you just gotta let them play. I don't know the answer but I do know our D has to start really getting after people ,we are just too predictable.
