From time to time one will hear talk about having the NFL draft held in Pittsburgh. Seeing that mass of humanity in Detroit, where would be the best place to hold it in Pittsburgh? Point State Park?

"We proposed several sites where that would make the most sense," said Jerad Bachar, president and CEO of VisitPittsburgh. "Where it would probably make the most sense is on the North Shore, next to Acrisure Stadium."

One idea is to make Acrisure Stadium the hub, placing the stage on the east side. Fans would gather along West General Robinson Street for at least two blocks. North Shore Drive would also be a part of the venue.

In the video it said Point State Park holds 30,000 people, yet at the 1982 Arts Festival, it was reported that there were 100,000 people for Ella Fitzgerald. In 1982 the Kool Jazz Festival and the Three Rivers Arts Festival were celebrated together. Ella Fitzgerald performed before a crowd of 100,000 while Richard Haas’ murals are admired. In 1984, the festival celebrated its Silver Anniversary with music from Roberta Flack and composer Philip Glass.
