Leal was a healthy scratch for the Bills game. Listed as inactive.

With Cam on the sideline so much during the game, I couldn't figure out why Leal wasn't out there, and then someone pointed this out to me.

They better get on their ponies, or both will be
on the outside looking in. Or should be.

This is a key to success in the upcoming draft. Hopefully he hangs another year. Maybe he likes the role. But eventually he is going to go.

Now that would be a loss I would be upset about...

How much is Dunbar to blame in all this?

Who has he developed since he has been here?

I got to wonder if his job is in jeopardy.

It's not just the defensive line, but the offensive line too. Look how well Dotson has played since he's joined the Rams. Even Green was starting for the Texans until he got injured. These guys seem to be completely clueless in regards to evaluating and developing talent, from the top down to the bottom

Funny... I think there is that Benton kid who may disagree with you.

Leal and Loudermilk worth both big questions the moment they were drafted. They were both Tweeners and not the typical 3-4 DT that most people have. Hell I thought Buggs was a better 3-4 DT than either of them.

Hoping the Steelers draft a big DT early in 2024. Give me another 300+ pound bruiser on the D-Line Please.

Benton is going to be great, but look at this list of D-linemen we drafted since we hired Dunbar:

Frazier, Buggs, Davis, Loudermilk, Leal, Benton.

    He is 1/6!

Dunbar is by far and away the least concerning aspect of the team. Part of a players success is being able to place them in winnable situations. Leal has yet to do so while Loudermilk has needed time. Benton was a hit but again, Line Play from both Offensive and Defensive standpoint are arguably the most difficult positions to transition to in the NFL not named QB.

In addition, considering Dunbar studied under Pete Jenkins, someone who is considered Jeff Stoutland or even Dante Scarnecchia's equal, I doubt Dunbar has lost his fast ball in terms of teaching either. Just because Pro Bowls follow in Karl's wake doesn't automatically mean that the players he is coaching up will become Pro Bowlers. For that matter, if the Defensive Lineman don't possess something to work with for Dunbar, what else is he to do?!

Bad picks. Not NFL level. This year they could fix that in the draft if they want to.
