Where are the other WRs?

I read a quote from Brown this morning that he saw a lot of triple coverage last night. If that is true, then why couldn't the other receivers (sans Rogers in the second half of the last quarter) get open? DBH went down to injury, but where is Coats? He was fantastic during the beginning of the season and has completely dropped off (dropped like his touchdown yesterday). Rogers got open late, but for the first 3.5 quarters they were nowhere to be seen. I like Hamilton but I feel like he was out there too much, considering he is still really fresh. Well, I guess the same can be said about all the other receivers minus Brown and DBH (and plot twist, DBH isn't that good).

I think missing Bryant and even a healthy Wheaton is killing us, as our other receivers can't get open consistently, other teams know that, so they triple cover Brown.

Last year when we had Brown/Bryant/Wheaton, teams could really only double Brown because they also had to double Bryant but they also couldn't let Wheaton run free because he has speed and good hands (even though he had some issues with routes towards the beginning of last year). Now, teams don't have to worry about any of our guys other than Brown.

As for Coats, I really am pulling for him, but he is starting to really disappoint me. Mainly his lack of being able to get separation and get open consistently, as well as lack of consistency with catching the ball. I had those worries even before his finger injury.

At the end of the day, I can only hope that the team keeps Bryant (well gives him another chance), and that Green pans out and is the pass threat that he is pegged to be. Otherwise, I am not sold on our CURRENT group of healthy/non-suspended WRs other than Brown.

Ben has to keep the business boomin. He's not allowed to look anywhere else.

Ben overthrew Coates on a deep route. Coates dropped a td. James had a drop. Eli was open and Ben missed him. Ben also missed some other throws as well. Ben even missed Bell on an outlet pass. Just pathetic BUT at least we take responsibility and own that. Feel better now?

Well, I feel like the other WRs haven't been contributing as much over the past several games. I think it is more complex than an off game from Ben.

Coates hasn't been the same since his injury, soon as thats right, his game will bounce back.

Other guys have to get open, but Ben had to hit them and he didn't do that much yesterday.

Brown is pointing fingers at the other WR's, but they were just a small part of the problem
