That is an interesting take but I'm thinking the front offices thinking is more in line with what Elvis posted.

Geez, now we have another QB whose name cannot be mentioned?

I’d be shocked if Pickett plays tonight, no matter how awful this offense performs. I just don’t think they’d put him in on a short week of almost no prep.

But I’m happy to be wrong. ;) I’m eager to see what the young man can do.

I really do think Mitch is done if he doesn’t show improvement this game. I’m sticking with week 4 as Pickett’s debut.

I think that if Trubisky does not look significantly better tonight, Tomlin may make the switch next week. In the preseason, you could see the offense perk up when Pickett came in. Maybe he will have that effect Won’t know until the switch is made. If Tomlin waits too long, he runs the risk of losing the team.

Wow Thursday Night Football pregame pretty blunt.

Time to see the young QB and the run game is non existent.

With that upcoming schedule I'm not sure you want a rookie QB out there.

Say we win ugly and Trub pretty much sucked. It would be interesting to hear Tomlin's press conference. Since we'd be 2-1 and in first place AFCN does Mike stick with Trub???????

I understand that somewhat and we keep hearing that we don’t want Kenny to play because of the offensive line or the schedule or whatever. We might damage our shiny new toy if we put him out there. I call bull crap on all of those arguments! The fact is we don’t have a competent starting quarterback. We drafted Pickett in the first round because he was the most pro ready. This is the NFL. You’re always going to be playing against the most physically gifted men on planet earth week after week. You’re always going to have to compensate for deficiencies elsewhere if you’re going to be a winning quarterback in the NFL. I say it’s time to stop trying to create reasons that Pickett shouldn’t be playing and let him begin his NFL education immediately!

That’s coming to an abrupt end!! 15 years with all of the talent he has had to play with and only 1 SB to show? The only reason he wins is because the division is so dang weak! He is the only coach that I have ever seen choke in the playoffs! But hey if you happy with it that’s fine it’s your choice! One thing guaranteed he will NEVER win a Super Bowl with HIS team! Coach Cowher left him with so many hall of fame players it was stupid to only win 1 with that group!

I won’t say it’s Cowhers players because the organization as a whole drafted them but the Tomlin fanboys are getting everything they deserve and then some at this point. Ben was the last domino keeping this fraud relevant.

Offense/Pickett had several opportunities to score TDs....only to be let down by:

    • Johnson
    • Claypool
    • Stupid play calls running Harris on 1st and 2nd down.
