Next years schedule is ridiculous gonna be hard to just get into the tournament. Year after probably on a new QB rookies don’t usually take teams to playoffs. Might be a while before we see a win. Good thing about the NFL things change quickly

May take time. They are behind the ravens and browns for the foreseeable future.

Given the way the season ended, next year's schedule, aging QB/other key players, etc., the immediate forecast wouldn't be favorable on paper. But every year strange and unexpected things happen with talent, injuries, and progression around the league. Best a team can do is manage their own and stay hungry and opportunistic.

If the team gets lucky, and is healthy going into the playoffs, maybe next year?

People were disappointed with how the defense crashed in the playoff game, but I think it will make a big difference if they have a bye week during the season (to get some recovery time), and aren't missing their starting ILB (Bush), starting CB (Haden), and don't have a rookie as the #2 OLB.

IMO the Bengals will have the best QB in Division in two years.

Ben would have to sit some during the season. He's done after 10-11 games anymore. Whole team folds late season since Troy left.

2 years? They likely already do have the best QB in the AFCN. 2021 will prove it.

Not jut a Bye week, the offense needs to give the defense a break during the season. The defense cant be on the field so much. the quick 3 and outs and short drives and turnovers have to stop. The D is tired and hurt by the end of the season.

I believe there is more to the losses than time off and players out like every other team has (including coaches). A week off didn't help Ben or Pouncey, and others our last game. Historically, I am not sure how well we do after bye weeks in the past. I know it didn't help with the Jags.

If the proper changes are made this team can make a run in 21.

The Broncos won a Super Bowl with a way past his prime Peyton Manning at QB. They ran the ball, played great defense, and Manning managed the game. When Manning hurt his foot, the Broncos played Osweiler until Manning was healthy, which gave Manning the opportunity to enter the playoffs healthy.

The same strategy can work here in 2021. I'm just not sure this organization understands strategy.

    LoL.
Sorry I agree. It's just the when Manning hurt his foot part.
That was the report, but we know.
    They kindly pulled him.
He was losing them games. His 9 td - 17 ints.
Won a SB he didn't (I believe) make 1 score in , but had (I believe) 2 turnovers in. 1 int 1 fumble. Between him and Cam worse Qb performance I can remember watching in a SB. Both had multiple turnovers, and no Tds. LoL
Yet people will say Ben had worse ...his 1st SB. At least he ran one in.
    Also last SB I watched.

To answer the question of the thread: When Roethlisberger retires and Tomlin moves on to his life's work as a studio analyst.
