    Seriously?

Don't say last week either. He played a terrible first half and he threw one of the worst INTs at the 2 minute mark and then had to have the defense bail him out.

Last week was not a good game. His QBR last week wasn't even top 5 this year.

Maybe last year's finale vs the Bengals?

Before that the AFC Divisional game vs the Ravens in 2010?

His ratings in playoff games and late season playoff position games over the past 5 years has been pretty bad.

Next week doesn't matter unless they get help.

I guess that INT and a terrible first half didn't matter.

Why was the Bengal game a big game - it wasn't for a division title and the Steelers winning really had little impact on the playoff race.

After the loss to the Seahawks every game was a big game if we had any chance of making the playoffs.

I disagree. 90% of people figured they had some wiggle room because they were expecting the Jets to lose to the Pats. Had the Jets lost today, the Steelers would have had control of their fate. Look at the the percentages for the Steelers making the playoffs were coming into today.

The games weren't do or die. As today went on, and people saw the Jets leading (including the Steelers), you saw how they played.

We have a different opinion on what is considered a big game. Oh well.

Yea Ben has not been very good late in games in crunch time. He wasn't very good today late in the game and over the past few seasons in big games when the team needs a Td to win he isn't very good. I agree he needs to start making more plays and getting it done when he needs too most.

People are gonna miss Big Ben, big time when he's gone.

Old Joke: how many Pittsburghers does it take to change a light bulb?

Ans: 3, one to change the bulb and 2 to reminisce about how great the old one was.

Someday, Ben will be the replaced light bulb. And the Laundry Jones, Bobby Hoyer, Tyrod Taylor of that time won't be better.

I agree Ben will be missed when he is gone. The Steelers right now would not have a winning record without him and Tomlin might have been fired already.

He still threw a couple picks, including that critical one with 2 minutes left. If the D doesn't bail him out, it's a completely different story

This isn't a thing. He played well in two big games the last two weeks, played well against Seattle, really didn't play bad at all against the Patriots... He's a winner. It's clearly against lesser teams, not big games.

Doesn't erase the rest of his game and the defense did bail him out.

And if it wasn't for Ben playing out of his mind to lead that comeback, the defense doesn't get a chance to bail him out.

Did he play out of his mind in the first half last week? No.

Non the less, if the bulb is burned out, you replace it.

With that said, this bulb is far from burned out. Some days it shines brightly. Some days it flickers badly.

    Sounds like a wiring problem.

Lol, give me a break, 380 yards and 3 TD's. The game is 60 minutes and they dont win without him. His last interception changed nothing.
