Only 2 games in and players are running their mouths reckless to the press, proving once again that tomlin has zero control over this team. It's shaping up to be a heck of a season.

    Both, IMO.

Trubisky doesn't read through his progressions and Canada's offense play calling and game plan leaves a lot to be desired.

I agree with this. They did all those sweeps to claypool like he’s a shifty runner…

If they remove Canada, I'd say there's zero chance we'll see Picket this year. A lot to ask a rookie to change OC mid-stream. If Canada stays, I could see Pickett stepping in and maybe the powers that be force the issue of taking more shots and using the middle of the field.

Either way I chalked this season up to hot garbage at the end of last season. The part that I think has ramifications beyond this year is Canada showing he doesn't belong in the NFL, the Steelers not moving on from him this past off season...and now setting up your 2nd year QB next offseason potentially with a brand new OC and new scheme to learn. Bad planning all the way around. Ideally, they should've married Pickett with a new/young OC that would've held that position for the next 3 ish years. Choosing a franchise qb is a crapshoot at best. You all but guarantee failure at that position with a young guy when you're swapping OCs early in their career.

Tough ****. Keeping their mouths shut hasn’t gotten anywhere, maybe airing it publicly will force change. They can’t keep running the same inept offensive game plan each season.

The offensive players need to go full on mutiny until Canada is escorted out of the building and his building access is cut off.

When was the last time they kept their mouths shut, because I don't recall it ever under Tomlin.

I highly doubt any college or nfl team would want this dumpster fire of an offense and its creator.

Correct. He didn’t comment too much about his time @ the Burgh; however, Lebeau was loyal to Butler and agreed to step aside to give Butler the DC role.

Butler advised Tomlin he would leave the staff for another job if he wasn’t DC. So Lebeau resigned with to appease all parties. He came to Nashville as DC for the Titans and did a pretty good job. The man was a machine who never aged.

Edit- he stated during an interview on Nashville 104.5 zone that Tomlin had his hands on his defense towards the end of his tenure.

Honestly, I think Canada has handcuffed Mitch. I think it’s his scheme. Idk WTH he did in college but it won’t work in the NFL. A WR can’t turn a two yard pass into a six yard gain every play. Eventually you will get behind the chains.

Don't get your hopes up of Canada getting fired during the season, I'm not sure there's anybody else on staff to call plays.

I do believe it was time for Ben to retire, but with that said, when HE was running things end of halfs, 4TH quarters.......He could still move this offense....Canada blows
