My point was simply that even though each NFL team shares revenues and there is a salary cap, not every team has the bottom line resources to go as deep in expenditures as others. When a team signs a player with a huge guaranteed signing bonus, a certain per centage of that bonus has to be put in escrow. All I am saying is some owners, though personally wealthy do not have the depth of operational cash as others.
