When do you think the house of cards started to crumble?

I hate to say it, but it does seem like this is the point at which these struggles began.

 

When a team that doesn't have a nickname beat us in a game we should have won. At least they ended up being NFCE Champs.

Funny you should mention our former run game coordinator. One of the Fan Morning Show hosts said he was texting with an "esteemed offensive coach" who said Najee ran in a run scheme that was "five times more complex" at Alabama, said the Steelers are simplistic and predictable.

This coaching staff is abysmal.

 

Spot on. This was the beginning of the end of a once proud top notch defense. They tried to mask it with loading up with weapons on offense. Got this team nowhere except for winning seasons without any real playoff success.

At this point clean house and start over. But Art II will come out after another collapse and say well Mike has never had a losing season folks except this one and the offensive line is in a small rebuild, we drafted the running back of the future and it's Ben's retirement tour( although i'm going to ask him to come back hehe) and the defense was short handed up front. Mikes doing a fabulous job! As the minority owners seethe...

 

So either we've had 2 of the worst OC's known to man, or the issue isn't with the OC. Our offence was the same last year as it is this year, putrid and basic.

 

To add to this, we fired the OC that put enough points on the board that we should have won this game, and kept the DC who gave up more points than we could score. Never could figure this one out. JMO>
