I don't know when he said it, but it should be. It has 2 first round picks, and 2 second round picks on the line. They should be talented. The question here really isn't about talent, it is about developing and reaching that talent level. If that happens, this team goes 12-4. If not, my guess is 10-6. We forget that this is the youngest offensive team in the NFL since all the talking heads talk about how "old" we are.

 

I never actually heard or read anything about aging offense but most certainly there was alot of talk about our old aged defense

You're right. Hell, if we just had a season where the line stayed the same (no injuries or rearrangements) for a while, it would be a huge improvement from the previous few seasons.

 

If I were a betting man, I'd bet Beachum takes the starting job from one of the second rounders this year.

 

I have to hope you are wrong. Why? Cause if you aren't that means our Oline and our offense struggled. That won't be good.

Let me also say that Gilbert will be better this year simply because he has a RG next to him which is better.

 

There are statements I make at times that I hope I'm wrong about too, and this is one of them. I really had Gilbert in mind here but I hope he can make significant strides this year. We need Beachum as our top backup with his position flexibility. I'm very concerned about our lack of depth on the OL.

Insult to injury! I don't use facebook and all that stuff but I make quite a bit of sport of people that do and when Xbox Live started having a Facebook app I thought I would put my sermon outlines on there for my Xbox friends who may never get to go to church to read but then started getting messages from people wanting to just "talk" and all that so I never used it anymore. So sometimes when I'm aggravating people I will say "dude if you don't shut up I will de-friend you on Facebook" because in the digital age that is the ULTIMATE smackdown and finality to a relationship! LOL!!! That's hilarious that Tomlin did that.
