Tuned in a little late to the game and, to my chagrin, saw Watt limping around on the sideline and heard he was out with a groin injury. Watt happened and any updates on the seriousness of his injury?

He is a Steelers defensive rookie. Therefore he is hurt. Supposedly a groin. If this keeps up I think my own groin is gonna start hurting.

Oh, that's right. I forgot that it's a non-negotiable requirement for Steelers defensive rookies to be hurt.:frustrated:

Considering that NFL Gamepass now sucks for me, I will not be able to watch the game until tomorrow.

He didn't look bad; if it was a serious groin pull, he wouldn't be walking around smiling like he was. Maybe miss a few games but not season threatening.

He injured his groin making an awesome defensive play. Blocked throw. Ice it as fast as possible. Best to not ignore it and injure it worse in a very winnable game.

The first person that cries "injury prone" I'm gonna dive thru the internet screen and smack!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know why Deebo didn't see the field today? I saw the question asked a few times in the game day thread, but haven't seen a reason.

Unless there is some injury we haven't heard about, I assume this means time has finally caught up with Harrison and they don't think he can play at all any more.

I'm guessing he just signed a big long term contract and if he said he tore his bicep muscle, it would be too obvious.

    That is my $64,000 question.

If they are just saving Deebo for a possible victory tour then it is a wasted roster spot.

I was surprised he didn't get a handful of snaps myself... Need to rotate him to keep the rust off

I really think they are saving him until needed. At no point was this game in question.

He didn't play because he couldn't find his uniform pants I think. harrison 2017.jpg I think I found him and took his picture. Take a look at the picture and see if you think this is the reason he didn't play.

    This.

James Harrison will see the field in due time. Keep in mind he is a "closer" and really does not need too much gametime ro begin with.

More than likely we will see him around November barring injury.

Besides, Chickillo is not chopped liver.

I liked seeing Chick get those reps. Nothing against Harrison, he will be called upon at some point, and he will deliver.

He's fine... maybe a game or two. Football gods may just be hitting us lightly, and may grant us a path to our destiny.

I dunno wtf I'm saying lol
