what type of offense does our head coach want? he is the guy that will make the hire. he was OK with BA's offensive scheme and wanted him back. does he even know what he wants in an Offense? he was a WR in college. will he put his face on the offense with the hire or just let the new guy do whatever he thinks it should be? we have not heard from our GM in all of this.

personally, i don't want a guy that is going to say i want us to be 50-50 in the pass run ratio. our best bet would be a guy that can coach and implement that equally, but change as the teams we play change. whether it's week to week or in game. a guy thats not going to put a high priority on just passing or running. a guy that can run the ball if thats working or pass the ball if thats working as a game goes on.

it's no secret that someone from outside will want to change alot of the offensive speak that we use, which will take these guys time to learn. it's not going to be a smooth transition right away. reads, no huddle, blocking, playcalling jargon, hot calls and all will take a while to get used to. making ben run things that he never used to under BA, or that he is comfortable with could take time. how much imput will MT have in all of this if any? will it set our offense back next year until they all get on the same page? that's another year of our qb's nfl career down. what will be the best course of action to take?

Good question. Not sure I can even guess what MT wants on offense. I don't remember much that he has said on the subject. I can offer what I think he should want: Draft the best O-linemen we can get. Get rid of the bubble screen. Find a fullback. Draw up more plays for Heath Miller. Coach the WR's to run crisper routes. Develop the toughness to get 2 yards on the ground when needed. Tell Ben to throw it away if he scrambles out of the pocket, looks downfield and no one is open. We are very close on offense. We don't need to blow it up. We need a couple of studs at Guard, A hammerhead of a fullback, a better short passing game and better execution by our WR's.

i agree on most of this. as far as the bubble screen, it's not a bad play, with the speed we have at receiver. we just have to limit it and use it in the right situations.

drawing up more plays to heath. the plays are there, i don't think we have to draw any up, but we do have to sell our qb in the use of them.

i agree we don't need to blow it up on offense, alot of the reason i like the thought of randy fichtner. he has his own offensive style, but at the same time , won't have to make drastic changes to the jargon the players are used to. his offense produced very well and he has seen the bad that BA ran. i'm sure if anyone would want to stay away from that , he definately would. he knows what these guys are capable of. he of anyone won't want to fall into the same ills as BA did. his offense was proven productive with alot lesser players then what will be available to him here. he also knows how to run the ball successfully. that's also been proven by him as an OC.

Your guess is as good as mine, I can't figure MT out? I wish he would be more involved
and lead in all aspects of the game? This is the million dollar question I have for Coach T.
He is the HEAD coach isn't he?

He Needs to get involved in all aspects of the team.He should veto anything he does'nt like. Is'nt that what a Head Coach is suppose to do?He stands there like he's not involved.I don't get it?I don't like his style at all.
