The Steelers look like they handled the Pats an AFC title.

By beating the Bengals and Broncos in the last 2 weeks, the Pats basically were given the AFC 1 seed (even with yesterday's loss).

Look at the QBs waiting in the AFC playoffs, as of today

    Brady

    Fitzpartrick, Smith

Weeden, McCarron, Osweiller (or the shell of Manning)

Yes, a couple of those guys beat the Pats (but not in Foxboro)

    That just sucks.

Yes, but we couldn't even beat a reject who was unemployed and out of the NFL 13 days ago.

So what makes you think we could beat Brady in Foxboro?

Apparently Brady is no good anymore and Belicheat defers to the defense now.

I'm not saying the Steelers would have beaten them, but rather the Steelers handed them HFA. The Pats might have been beat in Cincy or Denver. Brady/Belicheck have a losing record in Denver I believe. Can't see them losing a playoff game at home.

That's the frustrating part, if the Steelers were going to piss away their playoff chance yesterday, I wish they would have just lost to Cincy and Denver so as to improve their draft position and not help the Pats.

Whats worse they handed the division title to cincy as a gift with this loss, they just threw everything worth playing for away yesterday, they dont belong in the playoffs, and little doubt whether they win against the clowns or not they gave everything away yesterday, including me seeing them in the playoffs............

Jets have beaten the Pats in Foxborough in the playoffs... and they have a better team now than the one we faced in the AFCC game in 2011. Chiefs have a strong enough D to hang with the Pats and their O can eat up the clock with the run game.

I think the Patriots are beatable in Foxborough... just not by the Steelers, Bengals or Broncos.

I'm not saying they're not beatable, but their chances at home are much better than on the road. Not likely they'll see both the Chiefs and Jets, just one of them (maybe). Either of them will have to win a 1st round game.

If the Steelers end up not making it, I would like to see the Chiefs do well. Great fan base. Plus they haven't won a Super Bowl since Super Bowl III. 47 years ago.

Plus I have lots of respect for a team that starts 1-5 and makes the playoffs. Talk about not giving up.

I'll root for the Cards. Lots of connections to the Steelers and they seem to have a generally good group of guys there.

I'd like to see the Cards in the Super Bowl too. Maybe they could win their first one?

I was thinking about this yesterday as well how the Steelers really gave the Pats a break by beating both the Bengals and Broncos the last two weeks. And all we needed was the Pats to do us one lousy favor and beat the Jets and they couldn't. The Steelers have no one to blame but themselves for the position they are in but I sure would like to get the Patriots in the playoffs in New England and knock their asses out. The one team they don't want to see is the Steelers.
