Maybe he means the ones you put in microwave. I hope he doesn't mean the box of flakes.

to preface this, basically so I don't have to say it again as I post on this thread-

Since last seen in this parts, I've had to go on a strict diet - with limited sodium- to preserve what's left of my health. Years of overdosing on sodium rich foods have done their damage, and there is a long list of foods I can no longer eat.

The good news is that the dietary shift seems to be working very well. The bad news is when I see all the goodies on this thread I can longer eat. I will say that I bagged my limit of foods with melted cheese for a lifetime.

One thing I can eat is wild game, especially done on the Foreman to drain off the fat.

So, tomorrow, we are looking at bison chopped steak, grilled mushrooms, and a green salad without dressing. I'll be drinking some BrewDog Non Alcoholic beer, and snacking on roasted, unsalted almonds. Thank you very much.

i'm with you jimmy on the low sodium diet. my ribs are with a black raspberry sugar free jelly with 0 sodium. food kind of sucks for taste on this thing. mrs. dash is my ***** anymore. grilled cheese is for the guests. buffalo dip is with unsalted butter or i can't believe it's not butter spray, again 0 sodium in it. going to the store is like going to the library anymore because i read so many labels. it makes you get creative and cost's a lot to eat healthy.

It's my many recent years of being a bachelor, it's what we do. I also got use to peeled carrots and pre cut celery. Affords me more time to come on this MB and see how all the Hatfield and McCoys are getting along. :lolol:

Sh!+ that still sounds good. I have never owned salt or sugar in my Home.
Honey is the only way I have ever sweetened anything. I pretty much eat what I want , but I've never been a fan of Salt , or sugar. It's a taste thing not a diet thing. Just like sodas . I can't remember the last time I drank one, Outside of a little Ginger ale in a mixed drink.

Must be tough now that Hasbro caved in and terminated Mr. and Mrs. monikers. Might as well just call it Pat Potato Head.

When you could actually travel in this world, I’d go to Brazil 3-4 times a yr. But I haven’t been there almost 2 yrs and I miss feijoada. It’s a black bean stew with all sorts of pig parts. I find myself looking a internet recipes. When the weather cools down, I’m going to make it. And get a bottle of cachaca and make a caipirinha or three.

Glenn I'm not starting anything but could you please tell me wth you do with meatloaf to make it halfway palatable?

I can't for the life of me eat a slab of ground beef not in burger form.

That being said, I usually will cook a variety of meat cuts, mainly south american in nature.
Picanha, vacio, and some chorizo. If you don't know them get them from the butcher and ask Google how to grill them. You'll thank me later.

Drinks are always on the table and never run out.

Picanha!! There’s nothing better. Melts in your mouth. Another thing I miss about not raveling to Brazil.
