ok, round 2. i'm trying a mexican style bake. soft shells, nacho chips, ground beef, tomtoes diced, home grown canned peppers (hot), salsa, refried beans, casso cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream. kind of experimenting with some other versions of this making it mine. sirloin fajitas on the side.

i'll probably pay dearly for this with major heartburn. oh well sacrifices have to be made on game day.:smiley1::herewego!::herewego::yeehaw::towel::dfense::steelflag::cool:

Holiday Inn complimentary hot breakfast. :lolol:.

Just leaving Foxboro now to get home before the action starts later on.

Steelers victory tonight and I will return to the Lions den next week for the AFC championship game.

FYI, Patriots fans DO NOT want to face the Steelers next week. Alot of nervous people.

Enjoy your food today everyone and let's go get that W tonight!

    :herewego!:

Well the change in time has changed my menu. I am starting the day off with some Texas french toast. Then going to cook some ham and cheese rolls for pre - pre game. Got some Mozzarella sticks and Mushrooms for the deep fryer. Then going to top it off with some Cabbage soup.....don't ask but when I was in the store yesterday I just has a craving for this. Of course to wash it all down I got the Woodchuck Cider, which help start this win streak off......that's my story anyways. I will have a few good luck shot of Beam Apple just before kick off for us as well.

All the above should keep me busy all day and that is what I am looking for. I am not sure my nerves will be able to handle the wait today........

Early dinner. Porterhouse steak, mashed potatoes and fresh string beans, maybe some sautéed mushrooms. Just finished making chicken soup. Still coffee time. I'm not thrilled by the game time movement but you can't change the weather. I just hope they get the game in.

Alittle tidbit on Steaks: If grilling allow Steaks to reach room temperature and if using seasoning put it on 15 minutes before placing on grill it allows seasoning to marinade into the Steaks. Cold Steaks cook to slow and by the time their ready alot of times the juices have ran out making them dry or tough. If using charcoal push coals to the sides "indirect" grilling cooks slow and evenly makes for a juicier Steak or any type of meat for that matter.

Plan on something like this - I make the dough with a sour-dough starter, make the sauce, cook on a stone.
