In a so called fishing Hut in Waukegan that looked like a old chicken coop....I freaking hated it.

 

Crisp fried fish of any kind, with molasses, hot sauce and eggs in the morning are very delicious. Plus it gives great energy that helps get You to lunch.

 

Over rice, or cornbread???

Nope. Not a big fan of salmon.

Speaking of fish though. The Wheel restaurant/bar in Bridgeville PA had the best cod fish hoagies back in the 80's. Fish was always 1 1/2 times the size of the 12 inch bun. 3 inches of fish sticking out both sides. Can't find them like that anymore.

 

To early to predict what i'm going to eat.

But for dinner tonight i'm going to do some KC porkchops in the cast iron, seasoned with salt and pepper then a little fresh garlic, rosemary and butter then baste and baste. Some cilantro/lime rice and string beans sautéed with butter and lemon.

 

thanks bud. that will be both sons married in one year. oldest was in May. now waiting on grand kids.

 

I just served that to visiting family for a pre breakfast snack with coffee

Mine was salmon and cream cheese not salmon cream cheese

 

That’s when Christmas will be even more fun

I believe thats called the lox? Delicious with an Onion Bagel. Some cream cheese spreads have salmon right in them.

 

I dont eat it, but the wife loves lox.

 

Something about food products that contain seafood and don’t expire for months makes me suspicious

And that made me look at the can of lump crab I just bought that has a sell by date a year from now

I had some fish twice last night.

 

Seeing how I'll be at the big first birthday party for some relative I'll have whatever they put out. I'll be among Eagle and Viking fans. Not sure what game will be on the TV but I know it won't be the Steelers

 

Wings and beer. Probably switching to bourbon by halftime.

 

Working until 3-ish, then getting early dinner with my son. Probably Five Guys or something teenage-boy-preferred.

 

Hopefully you get cake at least.
