    Late game to open but that just gives us all day to prepare.

    Pork loin roast with a beef bottom roast in the crock pot along with carrots. Mashed potatoes and gravy.

    What you got?

    GO STEELERS :herewego!::herewego::towel::yeehaw::dfense::steelflag::cool:

    Today I'm keeping it simple!!! Hot Pastrami and Swiss Sandwiches topped with hot mustard, Chips and dip, Brownies for desert and to wash it all down Arnold Palmers!!!

    Normally I like to grill for late games, but I find myself often starting late. So I'm having to watch the game and during commercial breaks running to the grill to check whatever I'm grilling so it wont burn. Not this game!!!! I'm going to be front and center from pregame to when the whistle blows. This is the most important game of the season no to mention the Season opener and I'm not missing anything!!!!

    GO STEELERS GET THAT W!!!!:herewego!::steelflag::towel::yeehaw:

    I'll be on the road today and might miss the kickoff. It's pizza and wings today. Washed down with some Marzen style beers and a Steelers victory.

    I got a new electric smoker last weekend so I'm going to try it with some Baby back ribs while using the charcoal smoker as well. Got a whole chicken I'm trying dry brining technique on that I'm going to slow smoke as well. Figured it would be a good day to watch football and work on my bbq techniques.

    Low and slow is the way to go.

    Grilled ribeye and salad! (Though that's what I make almost every Sunday)
    Here's hoping the defense chews up the chowdah!

    Well my sister surprised me with artichokes this morning but I have to prepare and cook them. Love them but such a pain in ass to make. I'm sure they will be eaten way before game time so just beer and popcorn for game.

    At least the chokes will ease the pain of hearing my neighbors yell every time the Eagles score:(

    Could always have some New England clam chowder, Boston cream pie and a Sam Adams but that would just be wrong today.

    Tuttoroso crushed tomatoes (secret seasoning). Handcrafted ( by me :smiley1:) and seasoned meatballs . Sweet and hot Italian sausage and my first attempt at braciole ( seasoned as well). Last but not least the biggest Rigatoni pasta that I can find.....

    No idea what I'm having to eat yet. My better half hasn't decided. But it'll be delicious whatever she chooses.

    This will be the only game I get to watch in full live and/or from the comfort of my own home for about 2 months. So I have to make it a celebration (Please, please let our team also make it a celebration). Things have been very busy at work - which I know should be a good thing, but hard to see it that way during football season - so days off are few and very far between. I just came off a long stretch, and I'll be staring another 24 day stretch Tuesday with no guarantees that's where it will end. Gotta make the most of today! So regardless of what I'll be eating, this is also what's on deck (aside from 1 or 2 normal brews to go with food):

    Ray, please pour me 3 fingers of that Oban on the far right kind Sir. That should not only hit the spot, but remove it if necessary (depending on the outcome tonight). :cool:

    Going out for wings with Bengals fans for their game while wearing my Roethlisberger jersey. Lot's of heckling will be going on. I dish it back to them as fast as they can spoon feed me their delusional wise cracks.

    We just had some good burgers and fries, so I'm still kind of stuffed. Not sure what we'll eat for dinner tonight, but my wife and kids asked if I'd pick up some ice cream from Ritters tonight for the game, so I promised them I would.

    Was just informed my best half that dinner tonight will be pizza and stromboli. She worked late last night and doesn't feel like cooking. (She had planned sausage and peppers, but that's for another day now)

    I need longer notice if I'll be cooking since most of my cooking involves an open flame. ;)

    Not that I'd EVER complain about pizza or stromboli. :cool:
