What's Cookin? sea pigeon edition?

Once I get to my computer I’ll post my version

Since this is an eating OP I figure I can post a recipe without the dear departed Silverboob complaining

I do not use Old Bay or equivalent because when I make them I pay for lump crab (jumbo lump not required) so I’m not ****ing it up with strong seasoning

 

Crab Cakes


1/4 C Panko breadcrumbs

2 Large eggs

2 chopped scallions

1/2 red pepper chopped

1/2 C celery with leaves chopped

1/3 C regular mayo

salt and pepper

1 # lump crab meat


Mix shape chill sauté in butter

This mix will be a little loose and flip carefully i refuse to add more breadcrumps

Its important to chill them for a while it helps them to stay together


Makes 6 cakes @ ½ cup each I use a 1/2 measuring cup to measure and shape just oil it first so they fall out


Makes 8 cakes @ 1/3 cup each.

 

Chimay Blue

 

I was working for a (Mainly)Bridge Building place once, and I was doing some butt splicing one day, and I kept getting this smell. It made My stomach growl....I mentioned it to a guy, and He took Me out, and showed the smell was coming from a crematorium. I was instantly not hungry anymore.

 

Hope She gets better.
