Basque style pork chops with white bean and pipperada. But I'll trash it up with some nice Spanish lagers.

If I was home I would probably have sourced some Dungeness crabs

I flew from Pittsburgh to Dungeness bay to get them once

I finally went to a Doctor due to family pressure. I've been put on HBP medicine. Doc told me about the salt. As soon as the medication started working I started putting the salt back on. I have to take my BP twice a day and that medicine really works. I'm like 50 points lower. Hello my good friend salt;)

earlier this week i made some chicken breast, cut up in chunks fried in a little olive oil, rice with manderine oranges, pineapple and a small amount of the least sodium sweet and sour sauce i could find. then the wife made some zucchini in a batter and baked them on the side. actually was really good. :smiley1::cool:

Potato Patch Fries, Pierogies, and maybe a spicy chicken and waffle sandwich.
But that could change to a Franco's PeppeRooney Pie.
    Something along those lines.

That's pretty close to what I had every day for 10 days in Switzerland. I didn't understand most of what was on the menus. It's also interesting how many of the Swiss (especially children) speak a combo of French/German/Italian since they have no language of their own. Sort of like Spanglish in the US.

Amazon sells a 10 pack of assorted Mrs Dash for every cuisine imaginable with zero sodium, some very spicy. Not too bad overall.

I don't even own a salt shaker. I have never purchased salt. Now I do eat it if someone else has cooked, and I eat there, but otherwise, I never have acquired a taste for it. I've have eaten other people's food, and though, all I can taste is salt.

What is your address again? Do you do the quicky risotto or the old fashioned version reducing it for several hours? I do both but if you have the recipes and the patience, the old fashioned version is wonderful. I picked up a Risotto cookbook with like 100 recipes when I was over in Switzerland where Jeh is hanging right now.

Edit - fortunately they had one in English.

I do a slow version of risotto adding Parmesan and cook it with chicken broth

Then I spread it on a cookie sheet cool it slice it into rectangular pucks and freeze it

Then when I want a couple I pull them out dust in flour and panfry in butter
