Since we are in Carolina, it is REAL Carolina BBQ (no sugar!)
with coleslaw and lots of Texas Pete.
Washed down with lots of beer

Snake surprise, and for dessert, chilled monkey brains. Back at Buf Wings once again since some drunk drew the TV coverage for GA. Start with favorite brew and hold off on a bacon cheeseburger till half. Then more brew. Amount of brews/ draft of course/ is directly dependent on Steelers performance per the laws of physics.

Haven’t decided yet. Thinking about tossing a venison roast on the smoker. With that being said I hope some steeler fans stock up on liquid courage and midol because this game isn’t a gimmie. That defense is solid and their running game is nothing to scoff at either.

Gotta be chipped chopped ham and baby Swiss on Town Talk rye followed by a Klondike bar. Throw in an Olde Frothingslosh. Takes me back to my roots.

We'd be hard pressed to find a Steeler fan who'd think this game is a gimme. I rarely think any game in today's NFL is a gimme but last time I did it was the Jacksonville Playoff game. I was guilty as many other fans of thinking of that other team. I remember my family talked more about that game then the Jaguars game.

We bring that dreadful day up once in awhile at get together's. Always remember about an hour before game we were saying, "just no injuries, have to play NE healthy". We were so damn sure it was in the bag.

After the Steelers win and I walk around bitching we should be .500 I'll dine on an assortment of exotic cheeses and meats. Some Halloumi, so salty good. Little alligator to go along with it. I'd say of all the exotic type meats alligator has an easy taste to get use to. I liked it, you know, taste like chicken.

It's a different type Christmas gift from an individual whose culture enjoys this.

sounds good karl. i like carolina bar-b-que. we found a place up here in Ohio though that has a sweeter sauce that i have been getting. i'm usually a dry rub guy with my ribs. this stuff ain't too bad. i've gone through a half gallon of hog heaven sauce and my son has ordered me another half gallon for Christmas. they all liked it last week. i did one rack with it and one rack dry. both racks were gone. :lolol::cool:

Depends on the size of the roast and the smoker. For me a small roast is a couple hours

Don't know but no way Pickett plays so we get to see a #1 pick play QB. When people say we should tank to get a higher draft pick I think of Trub.

It still exists here in Hooterville but I’m not sure which millennium it is from

Pickett is listed as doubtful so there’s a chance he will play. It’s just a very slim chance. Outside of that they’re all holding their cards very close to the chest.

I don't know what we'll end up eating this week. I have band practice for a Christmas Eve service Sunday until 1:30 (playing guitar), so I'll worry about lunch when I get back. I'll have the game on my phone during rehearsal, though, that's for sure.

I think it was the old dangle the carrot for Mason and a you will be on a short leash for Mitch if you don't protect the Football...So I fully expect Mitch to get the nod.. Half of the blame was on him the other was a bad route combo and poor play design with the deep ball going to the shifty WR...

If you take that bad route combo out the TE probably scores, if that had been Pickens on the deep ball it probably is never picked and could have possibly been a TD or a PI .. So I blame coaching as the backside guy should know to never bring his defender into the primary targets area even a HS coach knows the deep ball goes to your deep ball guy and not your shifty guy not sure why they keep calling that route to DJ it's almost like they don't want Pickens to have a big game ...He makes a big catch and then they stop going to him something is going on with that ..Probably trying to work on his attitude ,I think he will request a trade or sit out he is clearly the best WR we have and yet he gets very little targets..

My son told me Trubisky is starting. I guess I'll have a soup sandwich instead of a venison burger.
