Back on the road we go. I'm thinking bar b que chicken wraps.
Saturday edition? I like it.
The snow is starting to fall, so I think this will be the last weekend before I put the BBQ away.
Give me Steaks, Chicken, Ribs, Sausages and grilled Corn.
I going to the Tree Lot not sure what will be open ..I hope I can find a Turkey,Stuffing,Gravy and Mashed Potato Plate...When I at home I make a Lasanga type meal of it.. MP then Gravy then Turkey then Gravy then Stuffing then Gravy then finish with another level of Turkey Smothered with Gravy ...It might not look pretty , but damn is it tasty..lol
Since I am going to Pittsburgh on Thanksgiving we are having our TBird day at home tomorrow with my daughters. Hopefully, I'm not in a food coma for both of the next 2 games.
Headed to the Burgh for Thanksgiving as well. Safe travels!
I've been installing 1000 square feet of hardwood flooring in my house. Trying to finish the project completely before kickoff. I will be lucky to have a Hot Pocket and a Miller Lite during the game.
Had to chuckle when I saw snow is going to fall. Where I am you can't get a tee time today at any golf course. We are a summer community but thanks to jag off covid a lot of people are staying down and clogging up my golf course. We have amazing fall weather.
I’ve been making this for years. Recently I bought an Instant Pot and it makes the pork perfect, tender and juicy.
If any of you are looking for the perfect gift for the little misses, I recommend an Instant Pot under the tree.
Note: If anyone takes my advice above, please share with us how it works out.
You damn well better not have jinx us putting this up early.
That sounds excellent.
What is the Tree Lot? And why do they have food? Is it a homeless shelter?
Baked ziti this week. Hot Italian sausage & Veal cooked in a red wine with grilled peppers, onions and garlic. Add fresh tomatoes and basil, ricotta cheese. Warm hot crusty Italian bread on the side and homemade Tiramisu for dessert.
Late Fall comfort food
How anyone can eat during a Steelers game is amazing lol
The 1:00 games (my time) we eat after the game. The 4:00-4:30 we eat at halftime but food is not on my mind. Last week was zero problem. No nerves after first quarter. I'm pissed I don't get the game this week but I'll follow along on here.
I will be out there grillin in a blizzard...
I will be selling Christmas Trees so I will have to order delivery ..Thats the food I make at home ..So none until Christmas .. The lot is at the American Legion we give them Trees and Wreaths as well as letting them use our outdoor Power Hookups for their summer events..Huge nice lot we will stand like 90 Trees under a big nice dome tent,we shake them wrap them and tie them to the vehicle ..It does cost a bit more than some , but we bring premium trees and give premium service...
Bob Evan’s take out turkey and dressing dinner is very good.
Once I know the Steelers have won or will win, the food tastes amazing lol
it was early last week so.......
So you should have put this up yesterday then eh?
He’s thankful he gets it up at all.
Kielbasa. Split and grilled with honey BBQ sauce so that the sauce gets caramelized onto the meat. On the side, some pan fried sliced red skinned potatoes. Cucumber and tomato salad with EVOO and red wine vinegar.
Tongue depressers and duct tape come in handy.
We have had one for almost two years now and yes it can do some good food.
Game day. To hell with the food. I'll have to follow the game on the board or listen on Steeler radio which is a good 10 seconds behind. To ease my pain of not watching the boys I'll sip a seasonal Crown Royal Salted Caramel whiskey. So tasty when kept in the freezer.
Switched up to pork loin sliders. Got them on early this morning low and slow. mine will be on 9 grain and seed wraps but the rest of them will have kings Hawaiian slider buns. Some bar b que sauce for them but I'm going with horseradish sauce. Diet Rite cola. Down 33 lbs. now.
