ben is back with no practice on the left coast. what could possibly go wrong? looks like chili again since it technically wasn't a loss. dogs and chili with some wings for the chagga's. what you got?

 

Arthur Treachers

 

Wow, I haven't seen an Arthur Treacher's since I was a kid in the 80s. I loved that place.

 

We're having a big Thanksgiving style dinner at church early this evening, so I imagine we'll still be stuffed when the game comes on. So we'll probably just have some snacks like chips and salsa, pita/hummus, stuff like that.

 

Smoked pork butt, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Plus plenty of snacks.

 

chili on baked fish? fish sticks? fish filets? fish tacos baked? maybe all of the above to put us over the top. it is a conundrum.

 

mmmmm. are you smoking a turkey thursday?

 

like a trial run for the big day? i got a pre turkey day key lime pie to trial run before thursday. ya know i'm pretty sure the pilgrams had that at the first thanksgiving feast. i'm sure i read that in a history book. that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

 

Home made chili and toasted cheese sandwiches.
Did I mention how much I hate any game past 1pm EST.

 

Beer of course. Not sure how much but most likely more than usual due to time and location (which sucks). Could pretend that our game is at 1pm and start 1st beer at usual 1230p but then I'd end up missing the game when it really started.

 

that's similar to the KFC/Long John Silvers restaurant that is together, the fish and chicken taste the same. cooked in the same vat i'm sure.

 

I actually buy a couple smoked turkeys from a little BBQ place. $55 for two. Ordered them last week and pick up Thursday morning. We go to a Friensgiving on Thanksgiving day every year. Friends of ours own a bar. Closed to the public on Thanksgiving day. Makes life easy. Just show up with the turkeys and a cooler of beer and it’s game on.

Pizza, wings, nachos/dip, chips, BEER and a few hard drinks.

Going to a Bengals party for a huge feast of Deep Fried Turkey and all the fixins. I'll be wearing my Home Roethlisberger jersey. They will probably try and poison me.
