Alright I'm getting tired of preseason already, ready for the real thing. So here's a scenario for you...

Mike Wallace says he's absolutely not signing his tender until mid-season when he has to, and vows to play not to get injured once he does return, essentially making him useless to us.

You're Kevin Colbert and you're open to trade him in a 1 for 1 player deal. Let's assume this "Player X" is in his contract year, and that we probably can't afford him so we essentially rent him for 1 season. You can choose any player you want, don't worry about his contract status, just know that he's only here for the season, so he needs to help us win a Superbowl this year.

Who do you make the deal for?

I agree...Any player in the NFL would have to be Megatron....

X3 in a heartbeat. :clapping: :yeehaw:

Here's another question then. If it took Wallace AND another player, probably a starter to get Megatron, who would you send away. :hmmm: This is for a real shot at #7 for Steeler Nation. :praying:
    Maybe you wouldn't....

    Mendenhall?
    E. Sanders?
    One of our glorious DB's
    Timmons?

Whoever the best LT in the league is.

Too late in the day for my mind to work well enough to name names, but that would be the position I'd gun for.

Tom Brady. Just so his absence makes New England a non-factor.

Janikowski. That way when Ben takes a sack and kills the drive at midfield he can boom a kick and we get 3pts. I figure we could average 27 pts a game off field goals alone and stalled drives

Just so I'm not throwing the same names out there... I would be tempted to take Adrian Peterson under these conditions.

Not a bad choice, but with him coming off the injury I'd be tempted to take MJD or Rice. Then again if he is healthy then for sure AD.
