It will be tough to know exactly what went on. Maybe Haley called a play that Tomlin absolutely disagreed with. Obviously we should not have burnt a timeout there.

I don't know if the house dispute has been settled yet, but here is an early story on it.

Yeah I saw simliar type articles where they were charged, but never was able to find where they were actually proven guilty or that they had reached a settlement. So, the only thing that either of us have been able to find where the Haley's were actually proven guilty is the Dog Boarding thing, right?

Yep, Haley was definitley frustrated, that seems obvious. It also looks like Tomlin noticed, but it could be a coincidence that he looked in his direction. Somebody needs to sit Tomlin down and tell him that timeouts are too valuable to be burning like that. Haley and Ben appeared to be ready to go, there was no need for a timeout there. If you aren't ready for that situation ahead of time, you have no place as a coach in the NFL. That is bush league nonsense. NFL coaches don't need to burn timeouts to make sure they get the right play in, especially when the QB and OC are ready to go.

Neither Ben nor Haley looked impressed.

Once again, I would like to know what the original play called was versus which one got called in the end. As I've mentioned, I think Tomlin is wrong in calling that timeout, but what was his motive behind it?

Tomlin isn't the playcaller on our team, if the OC and the QB are ready to go, Tomlin should let them do their jobs and make the play work. Even if he disagrees with the play, he needs to let Haley do his job.

Some head coaches demand veto power on every play.

I heard that Cotchery said he didn't even know they were going for it, him and others just began running off the field so their personnel wasn't ready.

Someone should have been waiving to stay on the field right away. Haley was busy calling the plays it should have been another coach or Tomlin himself.
