Honestly, I started this thread in hopes of you guys/gals filling me in on any interesting happenings going into the game.

Anyone playing that holds your interest?

Hopefully Switzer is highly involves and shows what he can do.

Hopefully Dobbs will impress.

Anything else?

Last chance for a WR to make their case if they’re on the periphery, although I think that corps is fairly set now.

Speaking of the Panthers, I'll be in Pittsburgh for the Nov. 8 game against Carolina. Anyone else going or have tips? This is my first game at Heinz, so I'm STOKED!

I think he plays 2 possessions, then out he comes.

Will James Washington be able to go?

Even if he can, I don't think he plays much. He is going to be really good, so they may be cautious cause they know they want him ready week 1.

How well will Mason fare in his final preseason game?

I think he will do what he has done all preseason. Try to make the smart play and be pretty pedestrian. He will probably play with the backups to the backups. Doubt he has a lot of time in the pocket.

Can Marcus Allen prove himself worthy of being in contention for the final 53?

I have suggested other places that I think at worst he is a candidate to be the #54 which will hold a spot for Bell. It would not surprise me to see 11 DBs kept.

What type of statement does Matthew Thomas need to make in order for him to be the primary backup to Bostic?

I bet he leads the team in tackles again tonight and gets some opportunities NOT in the Seminole package to be in with the ones, well the ones which play.

Is Brian Allen a lock for the final 53?

His special teams play make him a lock. Well maybe not a lock, but I would be shocked not to see him on the roster.

Will anyone at the tight end position step up?

I really want to see how Hodges does for us tonight. I saw some good things in the clips I saw about others today. Can he step up and maybe make Grimble not even an option long term? He is the only one with a shot.

I think he can, but will he? He needs to show consistency to get the job.

I could care less.

Yes.

I don't think it matters. He is the only OLB with any experience. I think he is a lock.

Will we see an expanded role for Jaylen Samuels?

I really don't think so. I don't think Conner plays, so he probably takes the first team snaps, but I don't think he will play more than a half.

Will we see more three safety looks?

I expect that is a look we are going to see all year. 6 DB (3 CB, 3 S) with DL and LBs sort of all over the place. Some 2 DL, 3 LB and some 2 LB and 3 DL. It also wouldn't surprise me to see 4 CBs and 3 S on the field some with Sutton checking into the game.

Plenty of other questions I have but these mainly stick out.
