It's frustrating. At the same time, you don't want them blowing the whistle too fast because Ben is so good at escaping the grasp but call the obvious stuff like helmet to helmet. That pass rush was fierce yesterday, I think Ben played pretty well faced with that, especially for only throwing one pick.

If you can't stand the BS stop eating so much of it, a decent amount of BS just fell out of your mouth.

One of the most asinine posts I've ever read. Tom Brady is tougher than Ben Roethlisberger?

Come back here after you've gotten your deep thinker card revoked.

All I said is Brady is tough to finish each and every season minus one.

It's not Brady's fault he throws the ball in 2 or less instead of 3 or more seconds.

    <Mod Edit> Let's keep it civil, gentlemen...

Richard Seymour doesn't think Ben is tough. Hahaha. Any of you tough guys been one punched through a football helmet? So tough! My hero!

Actually, TTF recently posted stats that Ben gets rid of the ball in less than 3 seconds on average. I didn't double check the numbers, but I'll consider that's correct.

If that is the case, then perhaps it's that when Ben holds the ball it's at the worst possible times?

Because, like you, I know I've seen Ben holding that ball for a long time... but maybe it's WHEN I notice that... And then when the replay shows multiple open receivers (panned out view) and you know he was just holding the ball... :lolol:

Ridiculous for anybody to think that Ben isn't "tough" he's been hammered numerous times throughout his career be it due to ****ty line play or his knack for holding the ball too long. Either way you dice it up, he's tough. Brady sacks himself, Manning sacks himself... Seen it for years. probably smart on their part, but whenever you see them doing the self sacking or getting blind sided for a legit sack the one constant remains... They fold and check out! Ben however, seems to rise to the occasion in those moments.

I think you're on to something there. Though, to clarify, those were recent statistics. I can't say how they compared say...4 years ago.

I figured they were recent stats. And that's what's up! Let's live in the present.

It seems Ben is getting rid of the ball a lot faster since Haley rolled into town. Actually, I'm sure he is. I can't remember which game it was, but they posted Ben's pre-and-post-Haley arrival stats. His release time is much sooner, now.

I felt like Ben held onto the ball way to long several time in the first half of the Titans game. I don't doubt his toughness thought. The guy will be lucky to know his own name in 10 years.

Anyone that thinks our biggest weapon, Ben, is the problem is on crack.

I'Ve been hearing that hangs onto the ball too long forever. I hope he hangs onto the ball more. THAT'S WHEN BEN DO WHAT HE DO BABY!

THank the football Gods we have him, we're relevant, and do everything we can to help him. That means line, receivers, backs, whatever...

I don't think anybody is saying that Ben is THE problem. However, just like many other Steelers players, his play is ONE OF the problems, at times.

    That being said... I'm :stogie: #SmokingCrack #Obviously
