    Is Belly-ache right or not?
    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...um=referral&utm_campaign=programming-national

At first I thought it was a clean hit. But after watching the clip a few times, I realized that Welker hits Talib before the ball gets to the WR. Should've been a penalty and was definitely deliberate. I don't think the intent was to injure, but rather just to block. And I think the Belly-ache definitely has a beef as much as it pains me to write it.

I think Bellyache has a beef with Wes
and I don't see how he hurts Talib

"shooting guns in the air" Talib is a FA and Cheat is worried to lose him too.

I agree completely. It was early, it was deliberate, but not to injure the guy. If that happens, it happens, but the goal is to take him out of the play.

I said this yesterday- the bread and butter of both of these teams' screen games is the cross route pick. Much of the time they are there early. If they were called as they should be called, the game would take forever as there'd be a flag almost every other play. Darth Hood didn't have a problem with it when Welker was lighting guys up in New England with the exact same pick play. Just sayin'.

I think his beef is legit, but going to the media is cowardly and shows what a sore loser he is. You have a problem with it, write your note to the league, that's it. You let Wes go and he got his revenge, if anything, I'd give him his props for doing so. Guess our head coaches want this to be a flag football league too...

Ohh boo hoo Bill Bellyache. You would think he wouldn't run his mouth about cheap shots considering some of the things Vince Wilfork and Rodney Harrison used to pull.

    EXACTAMUNDO!

Had Welker still been playing for him, his post game dialogue would have been much different.

"It's just one if those plays where you have two receivers running a crossing route and at times you get incidental contact on those plays. The injury was unfortunate but those things happen".
--Bill Belichick had Welker been still playing for the Pats and took out Champ Bailey

    Great point, both of you.
He was fine with it when Welker was his own. I do think that he's got a personal problem with Welker too. I think Wes pissed in his Wheaties.

There's bad blood there, did you see Welkers interview when he went to Denver? I think it may stem from that. He was basically saying Bill was a tyrant, he was so afraid of what he could say and couldn't say and how different it is in Denver. And I think for Welker, that it stems from when he made all the foot jokes about Rex in an interview, which was damn funny by the way but apparently Bill came down on him hard.

The hit wasn't even that hard! What gets me is the fact that they said he had a rib injury initially, then later turned to a knee issue. Sounds like Talib was hurt prior to the game, probably from last week and Belicheat kept him off the injury report. Besides, when has Welker ever jacked anybody? the only videos you'll see is him getting lit up. He's soft! Belicheat just crying and making excuses as usual.

I really don't think Welker meant to hurt him. But Bill is the greatest football mind ever to live on the planet earth or any other for that matter so who am I to disagree with him?

I think he made him sit out the first series because of that.

Wow! I really hope you had the sarcasm button on when you wrote this. Otherwise, Bill Walsh and Don Coryell want to see you after class!

Nope. I think they both could probably learn a thing or two from old Billy. I love both of those guys though. I would put Walsh second actually. Coryell is one of the biggest HOF snubs ever too. Look at the Pats success and look at how much control he has had over that franchise. He has coached up so many dudes up that wouldn't even have been on most people's rosters.

The head of officiating said the play was legal, ie- Belichick is wrong.

Yeah I really didn't think it even looked that bad. He didn't even go low on him or anything. I wish Welker could've hit Anthony Smith like that. LOL.
