    It appears you were wrong

    It is an MCl

Monday, when news broke of Freiermuth’s knee being a sprained MCL, and not a torn ligament of any kind.

And it isn't actually torn, at least not the way you meant when you wrote the post.

Did you read the article you posted. "They said it was a Grade 2 MCL (sprain)."

With a grade 2 sprain, your ligament is partially torn. The incomplete tear causes bruising (due to bleeding beneath the skin), swelling, and moderate pain. The joint remains fairly stable, but the affected area is tender to the touch.

I know, I know. I can quote all the Doctors and Medical texts I want, but you are never going to believe any of that hooey, because you and Glenn know better.

Hey, I admitted I was wrong on saying it looked like the injury was to his ACL, and it turned out it was actually his MCL. Because to me it looked like he had injured his ACL. But, a Grade 2 sprain is by medical definition a tear.

My Exact Quote: "Bad news, To me it looked like an ACL tear for Freiermuth."

A sprain that doesn't require surgery wasn't bad news given how it looked. The implication of what you wrote was that it is what is more commonly referred to as a tear, the sort that would require surgery and likely keep him out for a year. You know this. You are just foolishly doubling down just like you did with the Ogunjobi thing. It was tiresome then and it is no less so now.

Read this slowly I’ll post it again

It was the next day, Monday, when news broke of Freiermuth’s knee being a sprained MCL, and not a torn ligament of any kind.

You can’t pick and choose the parts of the story you like to save face

    Take the loss move on

You have pulled this :bscow: before when you were wrong rather than being upright and honest

Yinz laughed at me. Dolphins only down 20 to 17 at the half with Skyler Thompson playing.

Steelers absolutely could have won this game

I've been thinking the same thing. I thought the Bills were vulnerable going into the playoffs. Now I'm sure of it.

The Bills have been slowly cooling off over the last several weeks. Im not surprised the Dolphins are winning, but it is surprising they are doing it without Tua.

    Dolphins 24 Bills 20

Correct you are Steel. I’m not a doctor nor do I play one on TV, but I had a torn acl. I had a slip on an icy sidewalk in Manhattan and my right heel hit the middle of my back. The orthopedic surgeon sat sideways on my foot with my leg flexed. He gave my lower leg a pull, it moved noticeably and I saw stars. He replaced it with a tendon from the back. I also had torn cartilage and nerve damage.
When I see them doing that test on TV, I know that the trainer is testing for an ACL tear.
Another thing that I hate to see is when someone hobbles off helped by two other people with their leg flexed and foot pointed straight down. The ACL is literally the string that makes it possible to lift your foot up. It could mean that it’s torn or at least sprained.
I’m glad Muth’s injury was not as bad as it could have been.

I too have torn my ACL and I don't believe that particular ligament has anything to do with flexing your foot up and down. In fact, many people who have partially torn ACLs who are not overly active like the elderly are sometimes told not to even have it fixed. I worked construction for about 6 months before finally having mine repaired. Now, one that's completely torn is another story.
