What position do you think we will draft 1st and why?

Just curious.

Thoughts?

 

Probably a LB and the why is it will more than likely be the BPA .I wished they would trade back or draft a player of value they could flip, but will probably hold pat and get another Jones type of player.

 

Cornerback, because CB and S are biggest positions of need, and they want one of the top 3 corners. Karl Joseph is also a possibility, but only if the top 3 corners are gone.

 

Safety, D-Line, or BPA in that order of priority.

 

Hopefully Billings. We need a nt and someone to spell heyward and tuitt. Billings would provide that

 

We need a corner in a bad way or a safety. Kevin Colbert won't stretch for need he just doesn't work that way.
I would be happy with Billings at DT. I think he is a guy that can come in day 1 and start. I think we any of the cornerbacks we get that won't exactly be the case.

 

It still wouldn't surprise me if they take a linebacker they really like and every fan will lose their minds over it.

 

While I would prefer billings I most certainly would not lose my mind over an olb. Assuming that he would be the type of player that actually has an impact as an edge rusher(aka not a Jarvis jones)

 

Cornerback and safety but I could see us drafting safety in the first and cornerback in the second.

 

Andrew Billings, William Jackson III or Karl Joseph. Of none are there, while unlikely, I would trade down for more picks (Denver being the biggest team of interest.

We will draft a safety because the top 3 corners are gone. I truly believe we will take Apple Jackson or Hargreaves if they are available. Joseph and Billings are the consolation prizes. Dark horse for Neal and Bell although I'd bet they could get either of those two in a trade back scenario.

 

I see WJ3 or Karl Joseph going 1st. Depends.
