I believe we should start o load up on draft picks (I believe the Ravens have 10 or 12 with as many as 5 or 6 in the 1st 2 rounds)

Anyway with me believing we're not going anywhere this year I would make the following players available.

    James Washington (4th Rd)
    Ju Ju Smith Shuster (2nd & 5th)
Eric Ebron (4th or 5th Rd)
    Stephon Tuitt (3rd Rd)
    Joe Haden (3rd & 5th)
    Terrell Edmunds (4th & 6th)

This would give us potentially 10 picks next year and an opportunity to move up the board.
    Any thoughts?

This is laughable, you think other teams would give up good draft picks for these players, Haden, Ebron, JuJu, Washington, and Edmunds are all in the last year of their contracts .

Give up our 1st and 2nd picks for some team, any team to take MT and his entire coaching staff.

    I’d give a 5th and Ebron in return for a 4th. That’s how much he’s worth

I don’t want to give someone a 4th or 5th to take Ebron off of our hands, so no to that one.

Seriously, Tuitt is un-tradeable. We would take an immediate $10 million cap hit, and nobody is going to trade for a guy who may not even play this season. I don’t know that the others have nearly as much trade value as you’ve placed on them.

I like your thinking dominliate, Steelers must think out of the box
and get as much in return as possible to get us in the QB sweepstakes
and some OL. The players you listed are all probably gone or should be next year
unless (Hayden Tuite) play under Steeler terms of reduced salary. We have some holes that need plugged
and any return at trade dead line first week in November I think would be beneficial.
We will get back to being competitive again. We need the straw(QB) to stir that drink.

Fire the coach and his entire staff. Draft a Qb, get Rodgers for a few years. Draft Oline, mix some oline free agents. Fire colbert! He's lost his ways.

The Buffalo Bills drafted Allen. They acquired a whole new offensive line that year, via 2 Draft picks and 3 free agent studs. Seemed to work for them.

I can't even watch our debacle anymore. It's a waste of time.

It all starts with the QB. I think they thought Rudolph might be Ben's successor, but it doesn't look that way. Until that is done it's going to be ugly. It is definitely time to shake up the coaching staff. Bring in some young blood, especially at OC. The o-line is so young at this point, it's hard to judge right now. But bring in a veteran or two. I don't think Fitzpatrick is worth the money he will be expecting, let him walk.

Fire everyone. Bench Ben. Trade anyone over 27 and/or with an expiring contract that isn't clearly part of the future. You know, do exactly what I wanted in the off season. Art needs to wake the **** up and stop being a coward.

No one is giving us crap for Ebron. I'm also not giving up Tuitt. The rest I'd consider.

Personnel moves? None. This isn't baseball. You don't sell off players when it looks like your season is tanking.

The roster itself is fine. It's just saddled with a young OL and an over-the-hill QB.

The things that need addressed in the off-season? New head coach, new QB, and find another outside CB.

Haden, Ebron, Juju and Edmunds are all unrestricted free agents so nobody is trading for any of them.

Parting ways with Mike Tomlin has to be first move. Nothing really matters until that happens.

If by some miracle Art II does let go of Tomlin, I'd continue building the OL and get a CB.

This is going to be a weak draft for QB's. None of them really stand out to me.
