Their pass D is that legit. They have two top flight CBs and pressure the QB. Somehow, Steeler coaches thought attacking their strength was a really smart idea.

Agree. The Bears game most likely cost the Super Bowl for Steelers. Steelers do it every year... lose to a team they should destroy on paper. Patriots lost to the Panthers, Dolphins and Chiefs. Two of which are playoff teams.. and the other a division rival on the road. All 3 of those teams were miles ahead of the Bears in '17.

I know only one Jags fan and he is just as cocky as their forum. He is so confident that they will beat the Steelers. He based his prediction on the past meetings. He even went as far as saying that he will bring me a cupcake topped in Jags colors after his celebration party.

After spending several months in Georgia about an hour away from Jacksonville, I can tell you the water is garbage. So it's probably the water. :lolol:

We have an insane double tower GE filter system and a fridge filter....and the water is great after all that. Without it? We had an office-type water cooler.

Read this. What tripe. Comments like this are why Jag fans are considered fools. Not all Jag fans are as delusional and ignorant as this but lots are.

1.) How have the Steelers gotten worse since our regular season game vs. Jags? That is retarded. We have done nothing but improved, only losing one game to world champs in a game we clearly should have won.

2.) ANY AFC team would have won the North if they were in the div? You mean like the mighty Texans or Colts would have won it? We beat both those teams. For this guy's sake, I hope he is no older than 12.
    --------------------------------
The Jags already completely dominated Pittsburgh this season along with the rest of the AFC North. Even as a die hard fan, I've made alternate plans for the second half as Pittsburgh wasn't even competitive the first time around. We have gotten better as the season has gone along, and they have gotten worse. Yes they won their soft division, but any team not in the AFC North would have won that divisionl. If I am feeling this way, I am wondering if our players echo the same sentiments. If the NFL wonders why ratings are down, its because of mismatches like these in a divisional play off game. I think the playoff committee did a very poor job with seedings and awarding home field advantage to teams inferior to the Jags.

The only way we lose this game is if we just aren't motivated and are looking ahead to our game vs. Tennessee the following week.

I saw the game last week. Jags looked like garbage on offense. If they pull that **** Sunday, blow out.

I would have lived to be 122 if I were not a Steelers fan. I was at the Cowboys game last year, I think I lost at least 8 months in the last 45 seconds of that game.

Their offense is not a big stat machine, but was as effective as any 5th in PPG scored, because:
-Lots of turnovers and sacks = Short field, good starting field position
-Effectiveness in the Red Zone: They were 2nd in Red Zone TD % (64.7%)
-Scoring D/ST helps too: 8 TDs -2 int (both against us), 5 fumbles, one PR TD.

Yes, their strength of schedule aided them, of course

I’d better increase the margin of victory in my “guess the score” submission...
