I disagree..............He deserves to be considered for lifetime ineligiability status for the HOF. This 6th round pick has more than likely cheated everyway possible to reach his "elite" status.

I also beleive he deserves a lifetime arrogance award.

I agree that BB should face a 1 year suspension. Look, if Sean Payton can get suspended for his whack job D-cordinator, then BB has to take heat for lack of oversight here—cause you know they're not pinning anything on him. His team has been caught under his watch twice for cheating. Enough is enough. In my opinion this is worse than players using PED's. Specifically because the coach is in a position of authority and power. This and the video bit, he's been caught...it's becoming a pattern. And I'm guessing there is more fire where this smoke is coming from.

To me this stuff goes to an even deeper lever.

The way Goodell destroyed the evidence of spygate immediately before really having a chance to comprehend the severity of their misdeeds.

Goodell and Kraft are buds, there have been reports he stays at his house when he is in town for games. There is some special relationship between these two, and it goes deeper that we think.

If the NBA can force a owner to sell his team, Then why cant the "good ole boys " do the same ? We all kno that BB is not gona take the rap on this, but i wished the person that does take the rap in that org, .. would come out and just tell the public everthing that goes on there , kinda like " OHH your gona #@#$ me, well im gona #$%R you" kinda deal.. i would love to see that:lolol:

Don't know how much trust you put in Jay Glazer, but there is this.

According to him, other teams/owners are pissed and want to see something seriously done.

I don't know about the Ravens tipping the Colts off, But it was reported earlier that in the first game the Colts and Pats played this year, they found Deflated ball's in that game also( pats) and that was inside a dome.. It appears Brady likes playing with deflated balls

This goes to the integrity of the game, goodell will never inflate his balls and take a real stand. The patsies should forfiet the game. If integrity matters the fans will need to stand-up and force the league to take the win from the patsies or the fans need to boycot this Super Bowl and the sponsors or let football as we know it end.

Amen! It is becoming more evident every year. The games we viewed in the '60's, & '70's are not the same as today. Everything appears more "orchestrated" now. Way too much outside intervention. The league goes for viewer ratings, and the commercialism is starting to go "over the top". This will become a venue, over time, that will diminish itself. Too much greed involved --- for the owners and players. It is not sustaining, particularly when they try to go worldwide.

Like I said above, for me it's not about what the result was. It's about whether a rule was broken. If rules can be broken, then no point in having rules. Especially as this is one of the most straightforward technical rules there are. It's not like holding, for example, which is often just missed. It's not even like Dez Bryant running on to the field without a helmet, as a sympathetic view would put that down to a bit of over-excitement in the heat of the moment. This is just a straight up, no nonsense rule that has no reason to be broken unless someone's gone out of their way to do it. And that's what's wrong - not what effect it had on the actual game.

Btw, on the punting point - don't special teams have different balls to the normal game ones?

The Patriots have far too much influence on the league. I said it a few years ago: when the CBS Scene was built adjacent to Gillette Stadium, it established a team and a network that covers them as "partners." That's a serious red flag. I know that Nantz and Simms are treated there before games--I don't know if it is before ALL games, but they have mentioned dining there. Certainly, other CBS announcers and crew eat there too.

That's where the subjectivity issue comes into play, for those of you who rag on Nantz for sounding like a Patriots homer.

In other words, CBS benefits, from a business standpoint, from the Patriots success. Tell me that isn't a problem.

So if Kraft brokered the restaurant deal with CBS, and the NFL brokered the TV deal with CBS, and Kraft and Goodell are buddies...well, you get the picture. There's just a whole lot of impropriety going on.

I saw it earlier in the day, but that was the first google result with the image so I pasted it. The Patriots own Twitter account posted the same image earlier in the day.

Did anyone see Bill's presser today? Joe Theisman was interviewed after it and said that he actually went and tested some balls that were inflated at what the Pats are suspected of doing. He said it made ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE and that this isn't a big deal. Bill said he had "no sympathy" for Tom or the players about ball conditions and Troy Aikman said that he thinks Tom Brady is the one that told the ball boys to do that. Maybe that's what Bill made the "no sympathy" statement? It is absolutely ridiculous the level of drama that follows this team around. Or that they bring on themselves or whatever. Since the rats are involved it almost makes me think that maybe there's a little vendetta going on here. I mean if they had a suspicion about this then why would THEY not have said something to the league and just told the Colts to basically pick Brady off and then let the league know? That's just dumb. I just wouldn't be surprised if this is all linked to Harbaugh getting ticked because Bill vastly outcoached and outsmarted him on the whole eligible/ineligible thing.
