That's Harrison's side of the story, a 40 year old OLB doesn't get to dictate his playing time.

Harrison is a big phony, last week he said he wasn't bitter about how it ended with the Steelers. His actions tell you differently .

It shows your own insecurity. JH wanted to play. He wasn't going to play in Pittsburgh. He signed with a team that gave him an opportunity to play

You're right, I can't take it anymore. Even Wilbon on PTI blames Tomlin, and He used to defend him.

Quick question. What if the Steelers had traded JH to the Pats? Would you be pissed at the team? Or can teams do whatever they want but players are expected to stay "loyal" to a team that clearly no longer wants them?

I can understand that. Most of my Jerseys are the China bought ones. They’re cheap so not a big deal to trash one. I actually trashed Bell and Bryant too.
For me personally I’ve already debated this whole Harrison thing a year ago. Probably not changing anyone’s mind at this point.

You're right, but a 40 year old also doesn't spend over 1 million dollars in training just to sit on the bench. He obviously was told by Tomlin he had plan to use him.

They had 2 first round draft picks at OLB they needed to get on the field, they deserved the playing time over Harrison.

You’re wasting your time. For some reason a few outliers think that if the coach promised playing time then by God it’s guaranteed. Things change when your managing 60+ players.
No such thing as guaranteed playing time when the goal is to win games.

When that phony 40 year old OLB is better than the guy in front of him maybe he should. I know you know who I mean by the guy who is in front of him and who he is better than. None other than Bust Dudpree.
It still doesn't excuse the HC for lying to him and stringing him along and not releasing him. Maybe things would of turned out much different if he wasn't lied to

You don't make promises then. If they had no use for him or no plans to use him they could of released him when he first requested it and things would of never got to the point they did. If he can't manage players without lying to them he should stop being a coach. The man helped him win a SB with possibly the greatest play in SB history . He deserves respect for that. Why didn't they release him when he started acting up like they did with Blount? It's not like it would of hurt them cap wise. No they waited until the last couple games of the season when his options became extremely limited but you guys still want to blame him for going to NE probably the only option he had. The HC and the organization isn't always right
Anybody with a competitive bone in his body would of done the same thing and looked to play somewhere L I got bad news for some of you .The fans care more about rivalries than the players do. If the goal was to win games he would of been getting some of Duds snaps ,he sucks.

Where was Tomlins loyalty to JH after being a huge part in helping Tomlin win his only SB

It's also a common story how people forget all the good things some people do or have done because everything they do isn't perfect. JH is this and JH is that does anyone know that he takes his personal time out for charities and was most recently handing out gifts for Christmas with some other former players. Some of his critics I'm sure don't do that but he's a POS because he wanted to play football. He wasn't loyal? What was he supposed to do? What exactly would some of you have done in his same shoes?
Anyone who has competed at a high enough level would know how strong that desire is to compete and would do almost anything to do just that for as long as you could.

And people are willing to throw away all the good a guy has done for the team over a bunch of reports not knowing what is true or what isn't/ Kinda sounds like another situation going on right now.......

A few things crack me up one we still need to bring up JH, two we are all ready(myself included on this) to ship AB outta here without knowing the real story and three a thread that is not Steeler related being left alone just so people can complain. :smiley1:

....and 4 the guy with the 92 slashed out who seems so preoccupied with the "traitor " JH that if Harrison wasn't able to rip his arms off and beat him with them JH might of wanted to consider a restraining order against him :hehehe:
