What I miss

There is something odd about my feelings toward the Steelers this season, and maybe it is a reflection of their play - I am lacking passion. For me it is because they seem to be lacking playmakers and personalities. Hines is gone, Bettis is gone, Troy and Harrison haven't been playing. Except for Ben, and maybe Heath, there are really no "stars" or fan favorites to root for. With Ben spreading the ball to so many people, there does not seem to be a "go to" guy to watch for. Running game is by committee. We don't have a stud on defense.

I think except for Ben, and maybe Heath, we have a bunch of slightly above average players. Even Wallace and Brown for some reason I can't get enthusiastic about, though Brown is often exciting to watch. Wallace's flash seems to have been neutralized - he is good, but not great. No one who has been playing on defense is worth getting excited about as being fun to watch.

So, in addition to them being 1 - 2, I am not as enthusiastic as I used to be.

 

woodley, and Brown are my guy's, but neither it seems are playing verry well right now.
