In not only the next game but the next couple of games?

For me it's about the backers. Are these guys for real? If they are, will they get there shot?

Is ola for real? If he continues to play well I think he's a boost to tj that bud just isnt.

Will other young guys show but the staff stay with the vet through thick and thin and should they?

Will Mac finally believe Bush is the real deal? I think I already know the answer to this one.

Will Vince to back to the bench? Doubtful.

Can UG3 show again? Could he and Bush eventually be our tandem in the middle? I know very early for this.

Can skipper out play someone for a spot?

Will this staff be ballsy enough to admit we were not very good with the group we had and make wholesale changes going into this season very young and know the mistakes made could be outweighed by the good plays and the future benefits? Doubtful.

How loyal will the staff remain, when clearly the vets are not the answer?

How will money play a part in these decisions?

As far as the next few games, all I care about is "no injuries"

As far as the games that count, my number one focus will be accountability which has been missing in every facet of the Steelers for the last few years. If the circus continues it tells me that the last few years was not an anomaly. If the circus ends and everyone from the players to Rooney are accountable, I don't honestly care what else happens. However, if the circus ends and the accountability returns, they should win 11-12 games and make a run.

Sane as above regarding zero injuries
    Team looks motivated and prepared
Not getting blown out in the first quarter
Team discipline as in fewer penalties for mental mistakes
Turnovers, not giving the ball away and players making big plays
I don't care who it is that is making things happen as long as somebody is doing it.
Closing out the game /// not giving up a lead if we have one.

I wanna see Landry Jones become the Tommy Maddox of the new XFL. I know off topic, but had to get it off my chest.

I agree with Mac that the LBs will be interesting. Ola and UG3 in particular.

They showed some fire against the Bucs, but then so did Matekevich...

Also interested to see what the second tier of receivers can show.

I want two minutes on the clock and give me all my time outs. Let me have my boys and let me call the plays. Let me hear my name over the loudspeakers. -Terry Bradshaw

Looking forward to seeing a lot of Brian Allen & Diontae Johnson. If Sutton Smith can't get healthy soon, hope he can at least be retained on the practice squad ..may have potential. Very excited about UG3 because maybe he can be Big Red's replacement. I think (hoping) Bud is gonna have a big year ..do or die for a contract year. I think Vince will be the 3rd rotational guy after Bush & Barron, but I can see all 3 on the field against the Ravens ..being a dominant run team. I'm praying that Skipper can play well enough to replace Big Red in case Sutton Smith don't make the 53. After seeing Justin Layne struggle, may be wise to keep Artie Burns around for a while. Very excited about Johnny Holton potentially being DHB's replacement, leaving Eli Rogers the odd man out. Surprisingly was very impressed with QB Devlin Hodges ..wanna see more of him

I believe that because Rogers wasn't seen a lot last game they have plans for him. If someone gets injured, than I think they take Holton or Jones off the practice squad...

Rudolph gets the start against the Chiefs on Saturday night. I'm hoping he shows that he can look impressive against a first team NFL defense.

I'm looking forward to just seeing a couple of the next games. I wasn't able to watch the first one. Trying to follow the "game day" thread on this board to figure out what is happening is kind of like dry humping back in high school...exciting but not getting you anywhere!

I want to see Rudolph attack the defense downfield. He was terrific in the red zone in game 1, but his big play was a short pass with a lot of YAC by Holton. He was accurate, but conservative. This preseason game is the time to take some intermediate and deep shots in game conditions. He was effective doing that in college, and has the arm to do it in the NFL.
