What do you want to see in the second preseason game?

It doesn’t make sense that I would rather see the offense get reps than see a returner make highlights in preseason?

I understand why they are trying different guys at returner. I just don’t care who that ends up being.

You have to be sure to have the right player in this unit and to be sure that the players don't have too many penalties on the returns...This unit also needs rep in a games situation

If they score a TD, it won't limit the number of plays for our first team offense... I'm sure Tomlin has an idea how many drives or plays he wants his offense to play

 

Woodson would have been a hell of a lot bigger loss, but he was also so damn dynamic with the ball in his hands. I don't think Byrd is making the team, so they need someone back there and Austin did it in college.

 

Disappointed to see Nate Herbig has been ruled out for the game; really wanted to see him play center with the 2nd team.

Green is a waste, I didn't like McCollumn last week, maybe Spencer Anderson gets some reps at center? I don't think Anderson had any reps at center in the 1st preseason game.

If they keep 9, my 4 backup are Jones, Dotson, Herbig, and Anderson.

 

You're right. If Tomlin wants to see the 1st team offense get 4/5 series, returns that score or get fair caught or are a touchback won't effect that. That's true.

 

I am anxious to see JPJ and more presumed starters. I want to see a good crisp
hard hitting game with limited mistakes. And always no injuries. I also would like to see
some running game to set up the passing game. Buffalo has one of the better roster in NFL and will be interesting
to see how our roster measures up.

I understand what your saying its only a friggen pre season contest. If he gets injured oh well its the coaches decision. They do need to see who is going to be the returners. I do believe that McFarland will get a hat on game day and be the kick returner.

I haven't eaten out in.....almost four years, but I have never ever been a fan of it. It never made sense to me. For example spending 20 bucks on a burger, fry, and a drink. Do You know how many burgers I can make for that ??? Also I worked in the food industry as a teen , and the horror stories I could tell. Please people never send Your food back because it's not correct.
Although I have ordered pizza a few times, and picked it up on My way home ....probably like 5 times in that time.

 

It's all good. I would love to the stats on our percentage of holds on our kr/pr as well as our avg starting position and then our avg return. Just keeping my fingers crosse that austin doesn't get hurt on a kr/pr. I just think that speed is such a weapon on offense that is it worth risking on a kr/pr. Its all anecdotal on my part but I really wonder the injury percentage on kr/pr vs any other play. If its relatively the same then my concern is meritless.

 

I only worry when they are number one starters....like Rod was, or AB. When they are the 3rd rb, or wr....I don't worry so much

FINALLY! Kenny can throw it deep. A couple of nice 30+ yard passes last night to DJ and GP. Good to see.

 

Same for what I said last week. Last night he had 35 yards to Johnson in stride. then 40 yards to Pickens in stride-ish.

is there a 50 yard he can throw? Camp showed one, but it was not in stride. but in the games there has not.

Now I just hope Canada has more of an open playbook. as well as these 20-40 yards plays more.

 

Actually 30 yards hitting players in stride is plenty enough. If You can do that repeatedly....the D will be forced into a lighter box, and Najee, and Warren can then go to work, and force the D to react, and not attack.
