Good news,the steelers will have a good test saturday!

 

The Steelers will be going against one of the AFC powerhouses. We will get a better idea by halftime about how we improved from last season. They were hammering us by the score of 31-3 at halftime last year.

I do not tip unless someone serves me. And even then it's become stupid with what percentage they want now. I grew where you it was 5% 10% or 15%

There's so many places in Georgia where I see at the bottom of the receipt 20% 25% 30% now.

So I've decided just to stop eating out at these marked up prices for less food, that want you to also tip more.

..... if anyone is wondering where their money is going. Take a look how often you eat out and how often you tip...... my monthly spending has dropped 75% since I now only eat out once a week and I stopped my wife from crazy tipping 30%.

 

I want DJ to catch a ball on a quick slant and go forward without stopping. It's the most coveted square on my preseason bingo card. Do it for the bingo DJ, do it for the bingo.

The Steelers will get a look at two new returners on Saturday against the Buffalo Bills. After letting Jordan Byrd take all of the work last Friday against the Buccaneers, now the Steelers will turn to a combination of Anthony McFarland and Calvin Austin III to see if those guys can pop in the game. They are the two fastest players the Steelers have on the offensive side of the ball. McFarland will see action as a kick returner while Austin will man the punt returns.

 

I'd like to see JPJ play,, Pickett throwing a long ball and better O-line play.

 

I hope it’s all fair catches and touchbacks. Honestly.

 

I hate seeing a potential game changing guy like Austin being used on KR/PR as my gut tells me the injury probability is much greater. Used to worry me when Woodson used to do it. I know you can't play or manage in fear but damn is the risk/reward worth it?

 

Are you only talking about when we are going to be in the regular season or are you also talking about the preseason?

Since in preseason it's evaluation time, so a fair catch is not a good idea in preseason...I'm sure Tomlin thinks the same thing, which is a big reason why Boswell's kickoff are always shorter in preseason, because Tomlin want to see the kick coverage

 

I always want fair catches and touchbacks. Tomlin et al. can want whatever they do. They run the show. I’m only speaking to my preference. I like safe.

AND…what does it benefit the offense for a returner to return one for a score in the preseason? That’s one less series for them.

 

What exactly does that accomplish

If our returner makes a fair catch or the kick/punt is a touchback, it’s our ball. 1st and 10.

If said returner muffs it OR takes it to the house, the offense loses a series.

I’m not worried about wins/losses here. Just reps and team building. I could not care less about highlight returns.
