OK. 1st Everyone should know I'm not rooting for Mason, or Haskins. I'm rooting for whomever is the best.
    Now saying that.
Why is nobody saying how great our Rbs are looking compared 2 Najee???:shrug:They've scored, and rushed all over the place . More than Najee.
Because He is playing against 1s, and 2s while everyone else of the Rbs when doing good are rushing against the 3s,and 4s, and we know it would make no sense 2 compare them like that.
Soooooo! Why are the same people comparing the Qbs that way. What's the difference????

The difference is perspective. If it fits their narrative and supports their argument, they will compartmentalize and only apply the situation to a select group. It's why I keep complaining about statistics being used "in a vacuum." You can make the same statistics tell two completely different stories if you view them through a narrow enough lense.

This is why I'm hoping that Haskins gets a little time with the starters. I also want to see him push the ball downfield.

Lets face reality. The teams we've played so far are ions from being a regular season version of themselves (like us) where game planning and many of the participants will not be in the NFL shortly. To base how well players are doing on this type of competition is questionable. Mason plays against 1st/2nd stringers and Haskins plays against 2nd/3rd. Dobbins plays against 3rd and future HS football coaches. I think the Stains went undefeated in preseason then went 0-16 not so many years ago. You can make whatever you want or feel comfortable about preseason games but I don't count on preseason results to indicate how the regular season will turn out. This goes for both individual or team results. There are 3 seasons and each are significantly different from each other> Pre Season, Regular Season, Post Season. Each level is completely different in just about every way.

Exactly. I don't disagree with any of this. So:shrug:

Neither. I learned my lesson the first time, got divorced, and then found a keeper who is cute as hell and only a tiny bit cray. She had to have a little cray cray in there to marry me. :drinks:

Actually, "ions" would make them extremely close together. Just sayin'.

And there's a lot of seasons. There's salt and pepper, obviously. But I have a spice rack with seasons I can't even pronounce. But yes, they are all very different. Well, except for oregano and basil. You have to use them together and I couldn't tell you which one is which.

(I happen to agree with everything you said, however)

Pretty sure, unless there's a construct where atomic bonding breaks convention.

I may be wrong, but one is thinking eons, and the other ions.

Hey, he said "ions." The difference is one can relate time, and the other distance. He must have meant "eons" because "ions" doesn't make sense. And I'm just enough of a butthead to correct him on that. Didn't mean anything by it. Just messin' around. :drinks:

Ah man, I'm so sorry. You set me up and handed it to me giftwrapped with a pretty bow and a card that read, "Seven, this is for you. Pay attention and respond accordingly. You got this."

And I promptly shoved my finger up my butt and tried to fart. That image is analogous to my response.

    Again, I apologize.

Maybe that's what happens to people who start threads about losing Chase Claypool?
