What are the chances, even if we make playoffs we are the Peacock only game?

One Wildcard weekend game is Peacock only, what are the chances?? Look regardless I’ll pay to see my team, but nothing surprises me anymore with the NFL.

I fully expect that to be the case. I wonder if the local NBC affiliate will carry the game?

First I heard of this.....what a shame....I wish it were 1979, with the Steelers on TV for sure, while I dial my buddies on a rotary phone.

If there’s a way to screw the Steelers fan base then it will be the case for sure. I don’t even know what that network is but certain I don’t get it. Guess they figure some of us will still pay if we have to.

I host an outdoor football party every year and with all this streaming stuff, it's getting harder to keep all the games straight. Luckily, I already have Peacock.

I just did a little research and the teams that are in the Peacock game will get the game on their regular NBC affiliate in their local area. So those of us in western Pennsylvania could still watch it on channel 11 if the Steelers make the playoffs and are slotted for this game.

When will they announce the WC Round schedule? Sunday night or Monday morning?

Or is the NFL going to have a Playoff Schedule TV Special?

Live from Vegas with showgirls, acrobats, cheerleaders and Taylor Swift performing in nothing but a Travis Kelce jersey!

It depends. If we get in and travel to KC, we’ll be on national TV. No way they piss off the Swiftie Army.

    Otherwise we get Peacocked.

I would anticipate that in the local Pittsburgh market it will be on WPXI

Did you say you get your feed out of Youngstown

These type of threads kill me. The NFL and the networks are businesses that are trying to make money.

Steelers have a 44% chance of making the playoffs. I wouldn’t lose sleep over this.

44% before figuring in 'the Tomlin factor'.

I don't know. Peacock is still trying to promote family friendly entertainment. Our last two playoff appearances were pretty gory. They may not want to risk subjecting women and children to that.

Of course. That's the idea. If you owned a product would you give it away for free?

Yeah, but the goriness was limited to the souls of Steelers fans. To the unaffiliated family observers it looked like the guys in black & gold were enjoying a visit to the petting zoo.

Well, it USED to be free, so I think it is fair to remember them days.

If the product is anything like the Steelers last several playoff appearances, yes.

I thought if you got the main NBC station Peacock came along for free????? I'm Comcast Xfinity and that is how I get it. Although the New Year will bring changes to that.

Not to mention Prime movies will all have commercials unless you now pay the extra monthly extortion fee. Have you noticed how much of Prime material is now under "Freevee" with commercials? Almost time to return to network TV - still free also with commercials.
