Someone else had a hard time starting in college as well and he's got 4 rings....

Lets bring vick back too then. We can bench Ben and cut Dobbs. Then LOLandry can be the starter

Read an article where they asked all his teammates and coaches about him and it was unanimous that he wasn't a distraction.

These guys play a sport for money. Many of them aren't choir boys.

Military is not in the same boat, but nice try.

Military members can also be held accountable in what is essentially "Double Jeopardy" for crimes committed while on active duty. I'd also, bet that your employer can't restrict you to your home or decide an infraction you've done at work means you lose part of your pay and have to stay on company grounds for 45 days with 45 extra days of "Extra Work" after that.

Pretty sure that most employers can't require physical tests twice a year and base your promotions and employment status on them either.

But that's all off topic and we risk this thread being closed.

He is not a great read QB though. I thought he'd be able to make that transition because they had him throwing short routes, but he didn't really make that turn. If he did I thought he'd have been more like a Warren Moon (wasn't it fun to watch them play the Oilers?), McNabb, or even Cunningham.

Well early on he did. Looking back a it he was actually a pretty good QB in his last 2 years. He wasn't flashy, but he found ways to win. isn't it strange how those guys get overlooked sometimes...

He's talking about SB's won without cheating.

I believe he is just having fun though because there is no comparison between TB and Houston.

Houston is a camp arm, nothing more.

I guess the only way we'll ever really know for sure is if Houston makes the team, Ben gets knocked out, Landry gets knocked out, Houston gets put in to never be taken out... LOL!

Yeah I was just saying he wasn't like a constant starter the way Montana and Bradshaw were. Although both of them got benched in the pros. I figured that's why he said Brady had a "hard time" starting. Like not that he "didn't" ever start but just that he had a hard time holding it down. I also say Houston has no chance.

79 turnovers in 6 years is not good either. those can be game killers unless you have one of the best defenses in the game to overcome them.

I read a similar or the same article a while back, but he was still on the team. What else would everyone say, the truth?

What drives me bonkers about you BFT is how you always pussyfoot around issues and never really say how you feel. Come on man - let your hair down, open up a bit, tell it like it is. ;)

I would love to let my hair down but for some reason I just keep seeming to have less and less of it.
