Jim Nantz, one of the best in the business, saw the Jesse James CATCH atleast 6 times and never noticed or mentioned the possibility of it not big a catch.

I watched the game with 3 Pats fans. Not one noticed it. Not one. Every one of them though it was a TD.

If this is the rule then the NFL has a big problem. If that many people watched a play and had no clue that it wasn' a catch. It' a stupid rule.

There's' alot of sports out there that I don't watch because they have STUPID rules that I don't understand.

Apparently the NFL is amongst those.

2017, despite all of the success for the Steelers, has been the most difficult season to bear.

    This game was stolen.

    The NFL is dying.

It's the possession all the way through the catch bull****, which when it happens like it did tonight, negates the 'as soon as it crosses the plane' rule.

As I said in the past four threads, I would expect no less. Tony Cornette needs a one way ticket out of our universe.

Anything to drive ratings is what Goodell cares about anymore. Gabriel is already at his proverbial doorstep and he is ready to go out in a blaze of glory.

Of course, blaming someone, rather some"thing" like "that" would be quite asinine.

The game was in hand up until Keith Butler and Todd Haley elected to put on their dorkus hats. The former letting Sean Davis get permated and the latter using Fitz over Bell on a 2nd and 23.

Even so, this battle was not ours but the war is a forgone conclusion.

That I agree. Draw on 2nd and 23? And if you're going to do it, use Bell not you're 45th string running back. Mind numbing call.

Right now I’m still seething with anger. You CAN’T overturn that TD call. Even though the ball moved a little bit, he had his right arm under it, and there was no evidence of true loss of control. If it was called incomplete on the field, I could MAYBE see the call being upheld because of a lack of visual evidence to say it was caught. Maybe.

The NFL got this wrong. They’ve been overlegislating the game, and pretty much destroying their product. I’m just sick right now. I’m not even sure that I’ll watch another NFL game this season.

If they meet again hopefully this will make the team play even harder.
