I saw where their RB came out and blamed his coaches in his presser and declared eligibility. I'm sure teams will be dying to draft a guy that throws his coaches under the bus like that. LOL!

The Buckeyes set back offensive football 15 years with that play calling Saturday.
The RB was right, I think he had maybe 10 carries all night, a heisman trophy
caliber type RB. And Michigan State was the underdog by double digits, with there
sub qb's . Nice job Urban.

    I am still here...

    And Zeke was right,

No reason he should have only had 12 carries against the Spartans...

Even worse, 2 in the 2nd half...

Meyer seemed to listen to him, and not be offended,

Not the type of player to be "me first"...

He was just frustrated, and he should have been...

He also, apologized to his coach, and team, for "speaking out", in an "inappropriate forum"...

I tend to like players that speak their mind, instead of giving "politically correct" answers, in interviews...

It`s a fine line, and if he had been doing that all the time, I would have a problem with it...

He was pissed off, and didn`t contain his emotions, after the first loss he was part of, with that team...

See what happened, when we gave him the ball, against that team up north???

    He backed his talk up...

Shame we didn`t listen to him against Mich. State, or we would still be in the playoff picture...

Urban Myer admitted as much... Blamed himself, for not giving Zeke the ball...

And said he had no problem with Elliot speaking his mind...

It was a one time thing, and he wasn`t wrong...

So, YEAH, this BUCKEYE FAN is still here...

We were not impressive this year, and didn`t deserve to get in the playoff picture...

But, we have talent, and will be in the hunt next year!!

The Buckeyes certainly blew their chance at repeating.
By not giving the ball to the rb and pounding like they did to Michigan.
Lets face it, Ohio State & Crimson Tide 99% of the time will have
better talent on those 2 sidelines then their opponent. If the coaches
    blow it shame on them.

We`ve won the National Championship at LEAST three times, since Woody Hayes lost his cool...

Most recentley, as the FOURTH seed, with our THIRD string qb,
in the FIRST year of the College Football Playoff format...
And been right there with a chance to win it numerous other years...

I`ve lost count of how many times we`ve been Big 10 Conference champs, since then, but I`m sure you can Google it, and it will be in the range of about 20 times in about 30 years, since Hayes retired..

Check for how many Bowl games we`ve been invited to, and won, since then, while yer at it...

If we were "no good", the T.V. networks wouldn`t be getting some of their best ratings ever, for the games we play in, Bowl Games, or otherwise, Primetime games, etc...

    If we were "no good"...

We wouldn`t have won a record 23 games in a row... TWICE...

    interrupted by one loss..

If we were "no good", you wouldn`t have heard so many former players saying they played for "THE Ohio State University", during the player profiles, on ESPN, NBC, ABC, etc..

When they announce the starting lineups of the NFL team, at the beginning of their broadcasts..

Our record speaks for itself, and the dollars advertisers are willing to pony up, when we are on national tv speaks for us, as well..

    GO BUCKEYES!!!:yahoo:

Actually, the "Luckeyes" are in 14th place all time for bowl wins. They have a losing record, as a matter of fact. Overrated!!

Quick question for you Buckeye insiders, there was a player out of Harriburg , Pa
back a couple of years I watched him play in HS playoff game loads of talent
went to OSU got in trouble, did he transfer? I can't think of his name.

Just a footnote for OSU, PSU fans, Narduzzi recruited a lot of ball players for Michigan State
over the past years from under Pitt's,Buckeyes, Nittany Lions nose's now he will be recruiting
them for Pitt, he has this area energized (at least me LOL) Watch out Buckeye fans he will becoming
after PA ball players that have been going to OSU because there was not continuity at Pitt.

Noah Spence, that is him. Thank you Turtle he had ton's of talent in HS
I wanted Pitt to get him, he went to OSU. I read he had trouble with drugs
and was kicked off team. Its a shame so much talent too waste.

As I stated in above threads, Tide/ Buckeyes when lined up for games
will normally have way more talent on field than opposing teams. I am still rooting
for Clemson to win Championship, Bama has won enough.

That's a very ethereal avatar you're sporting there Thor. Is that one of those "Deep Thoughts" paintings where if you stare at it cross-eyed you'll see 3 dimensional hidden spaceships or native americans in various hunting positions? Nice touch as the Steelers face a somewhat lost in the woods reality tomorrow but with a distant glimmer of light and hope if they stay the course (and the frigging Bills beat the wang out of the Jets). :club:

Honestly, I think we would have given Alabama as much of a game, as Clemson did.

Maybe we would have won... Maybe not...

It kills me that we didn`t get the chance...

And deservedly so, but not Just because we lost to the Spartans,

But because we didn`t play convincingly well all year long...

It took Urban too long to decide on a qb, and it took him too long, to
decide to put his O-co ordinater up in the booth...

Hopin` he learns from both... I still think he`s a pretty damn good coach,
and we will be a threat next year despite our losses to the NFL Draft!!!

By the end of the season, we were playing well enough to challenge `Bama, and Saban,
But I got nothing against Clemson... They earned their right to be there, and made it a hell
    of a game...

My point exactly Bleed, OSU and Bama. I love the effort Clemson put up and was actually rooting for them to win.
Clemson is here to stay, they have it clicking/recruiting. I think FSU and all other ACC teams (mine included Pitt)
better know what they are up against.

Looks like the Buckeyes and Bama are the cream of the crop once again. With Clemson
and Houston and Louisville and Michigan fighting it out for the playoffs. Bama will have it's hands full
against Razorbacks.Razorbacks can play smash mouth football.

Indeed on the bolded. Not too many people know outside of the SEC aficionados that Arkansas plays a throwback style football that matches up well with any SEC team. Arkansas will not be easy for the 'Tide.
