Thank you Thor, helluva lot to make up, if ever. I can only hope the Steelers
will make better decisions than the Eagles have made. You can't keep a team competitive
or put better players and coaches in play with this type of hit. You better hit a home run in
the draft sort of like the Steelers did in 74.

 

De nada. I was actually just commenting to this in the Ben thread regarding the situation the Steelers have this offseason. Typically a savvy GM is leveraging the current offseason decisions against a rolling three year projection of needs/cost. Three years ago they took a chance backloading the extension they gave to Ben, when no one saw COVID wreaking havoc on the world. Unfortunately it did, and $41M represents an even larger hurdle to leap in retaining talent across the team.
