I've been a Steelers fan for exactly 51 years today. I've seen a lot, but this one today falls in the most improbable all told. I have a bunch of burning questions from all this, and you can answer at your leisure.

1- Was it Mason's runs (and I include that safety saving dive at the end of the game)that were the best aspect of his game today?

2- How bad is Percy Harvin?

3- Was that Myles Jack's best game as a Steeler?

4- Did you know that George Pickens went over 1000 yards receiving today, making him the latest in a long line of Steelers receivers drafted in the last 25 years that have reached that total?

    5- Where was Freiermuth?

6- Did anyone else besides me have Pickens and Higgins starting in fantasy today?

7- Is Mitch Trubitsky the one to blame for missing the playoffs this season?

8- Can you imagine the Steelers and Ravens playing to an agreed on tie in week 18, giving the Ravens the home field and the Steelers another Tomlin non-losing season?

9- Is there any question that Mason starts next week?

10- If I'd told you in August that the Steelers were going to sweep the Bengals, would you've agreed that we would then be a playoff lock?

Extra credit- Why did the Bengals quit with 6:57 left? And why did they pass on on 4th and goal at the one?

    That's it, thanks for reading.

    1. The best aspect was him running when he had to, instead of prompted by phantom pressure.

    2. Well Percy Harvin isnt in the league anymore so, from the couch, pretty bad.

    3. Definitely!

    4. Crazy, numbskulls, stoners, whatever, Steelers draft good WRs.

5.I think avoid Freiermuth in fantasy for a while hes hobbled.

    6. Definitely not. I have neither on any teams of mine.

    7. Yes Trubisky is trash but Kenny hasnt shown any franchise quality except the strange clutchness but Kenny is only afforded those clutch opportunities because the Defense kept the other team scoring as little Kenny was himself.

    8. I cant imagine them agreeing on anything ever.

    9. He should finish the season. Kenny needs a fire and that fire should be competing with Mason and a mid to late round project draft pick at QB in training camp next offseason, no Mitch.

    10. Definitely would have thought so lol.

Tomlin said in the post game press conference about the Bengals defense dictated them not going to Freiermuth, he probably got more attention after what he did to them the first game.

Its Tomlins fault we miss the playoffs, its his decision to have MR inactive most of the season, and to start Mitch over Rudolph these past few

Which Steelers? The ones who showed up today? Yes! The ones who showed up the last three weeks? No!

That fourth and goal play by the Bengals looks like one the Steelers would have called.

This exactly. From what I could see (need to wait for all-22) they were bracketing him on obvious passing downs with a linebacker or slot under and a safety over. He had what? 9 catches for 120 yards last time? Looked like they were determined to take him away and let someone else beat them. I’m guessing that’s why Pickens faced single coverage a lot.

No but it’s the 51st anniversary of the Immaculate Reception, which also happens to be the first Steelers game I ever saw (aged 6)
