He was a short term rental to Ohio State. He played 4 years at Kansas State.

Mike Sainristil has looked good in the limited action I've seen him in this year. He was on my radar last draft when I was advocating for center in the first, CB in the second, and OT in the third.

Of course, Washington plucked him right in front of us in the second, but I still hope he turns out for them.

I liked Sainristil last year but Washington drafted him earlier than what was expected for a slot CB.

Vets via trade or FA could be gotten at the CB and OLB positions and Qb. Jackson TJ i think are injury prone and experience at those positions would help.

For the draft get a WR and DT/NT, we desperately need that.

but this all doesnt mean much if we dont make improvements at the coordinator and O line positions. And if our fearless leader keeps sticking his nose into everything. Were not going very far as long as were stuck with this coaching staff and HC. If a fans can figure this out, the Steelers FO must know it too.

Yeah, I wanted him too. I think he’d be even better in the nickel.

Anyone that watched the playoffs this season should have come to the easy conclusion that the Steelers cannot compete with those teams until their lines are built. Skip skill positions early in the draft and focus on trenches. Double dip on a DL class dripping with talent. Look for a Day 2 guard and CB, then see what is left at RB/WR on Day 3. This team is a couple drafts away from the top teams (and that is still contingent on the picks actually producing).

still nothing official on russell but not looking good. the 4 QB's i watched Sunday are much better than anything we will be fielding this coming year. they seem to think fields will be similar to washington's qb at some point. ha. he ain't close. that kid ain't even close to what the other 3 were. they have good teams around them too. for philly it's the o and d lines that drive the wagon. the bills have a stud qb and good RB. mahomes has talent but the coaching makes a difference. more of a total team talent. we are not near any of these teams yet.

Follow the Eagles blueprint. With the talent coming out in the draft on defensive lineman, double dip there. Tweak the offensive line maybe via FA but I think it’s pretty solid and just needs to stay healthy more than anything else.

I might be coming around on @SGSteeler@SGSteeler at RB. I like Warren but he’s not Barkley. If you are going to dominate on the trenches then get a game changing back to take advantage of it. This is a good draft for RB’s.

Hurts is a good QB but he’s not on the level of Mahomes/Allen and hes making his second trip to the SB in 3 years.

Build the lines, easier than finding that unicorn QB.

i put up some thoughts on the draft side of the steelers fans. i had a thought on the QB's and this O-line draft. some may think it's crazy but i'm going to say it. don't draft one guy but add to the position to strengthen it.

    1. still on donovan jackson. ohio state guard that can and did move to LT and did very well for them. national championship well. he was just as good if not better at guard before that. a 2 for 1 type player at a high level. very smart too. move down in this draft and nab him. i have seen him going anywhere between pick 41 to the 3rd round. it's early yet he may very well move up in rankings. would help complete the line for sure. i'm tired of well that should be good enough no need to complete the job. they make the offense go.

    2. quinshon judkins. RB ohio state. noticeable difference when they used him. he did the same last year for ole miss. size, wiggle and vision. he and warren would make us better running the ball along with fixing the line. i thought about what elvis said but daniels would be a gamble. let him walk. get a comp pick. dump seumalo and add this kid.

    3. here comes the boom. many will doubt this i'm sure. you draft not one but two. jackson dart and will howard. quit trying to chase this 2026 unicorn that won't be there. if fields is the stop gap fine but put two very solid guys behind him and may the best man win. get it started.

    4. we don't always need just one guy to fix the DL. we don't need a cam heyward, we need good players to get in the rotation. no loudermilk, leal and a hope and prayer that this year they might improve. dump larry o as well. get it started. the 3 teams that were in the championship games that did the best, didn't do it with one stud. this is a deep draft for this position. start adding these new fresh bodies and take advantage of a good draft at this position.

there is more but i will leave this for now.
